Old Durbar Nepalese & Indian Restaurant & Lounge

My family normally visit this restaurant to eat, we have worst experience In recent visit. We order Thali set for 3 people. Order come in so quickly but food was worst Nepali Thali set in Melbourne. Return back Glenroy empty stomach. 28/12/2023. Table number 3. Not going back again.

Best Nepalese restaurant in Melbourne, been here couple of times before and this evening. Always enjoyed the food. Delicious food with authentic Nepali test.
Staff were friendly and service was amazing.
Will be back for sure.

I love to dine here but the only thing is food never comes out together on time. It’s always one first awkward serving and the rest have to wait for next 10/15 mins. And the first serving was not even the hot meal it was choila set which can be send out from the kitchen after rest of the meal or at the same time with the other meals. We were four dining and we got our meal one after another in 10mins interval. It would be nice to dine in together at a time: (.

Had a great evening with my family for dinner. Friendly staffs, mouth watering food, and the live music was just outstanding. Will visit soon

Highly recommended for everyone craving authentic Nepali dishes. Old durbar is undoubtedly the best Nepali restaurant in Melbourne.

Good food and great vibe. Needs more option of Nepalese food. Overall excellent staff, I will need to try more food next time. Until, I recommend ths place.

Nice nepalese restaurant and by the far best Nepali restaurant in melbourne for me. Momo was so good and other food were good as well. The environment and vibes was great. Customer service was also good.

Amazing service. Me and my family went there for dinner. They were very accommodating and helpful. The food is yum and with good food they also have good hospitality service which me and my family really appreciated during our visit there.

This was my first visit. I tried Chowmien and chilli chicken.was quite nice.
Staff are friendly and polite.
Service was quick on a Thursday evening.
May be next visit I will try more Nepalese dishes as they look yummy.

We’ve been visiting OD since past year, and been one of the regulars ever since! Always loved the way everyone makes us feel welcomed and heard. Always love the food that they’ve been serving and specially the Steam Momo is something to die for! Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing ambience

I’d recommend everyone to visit this place once and assure you that you won’t regret.

Food was amazing but they messed up with our takeaway order. Had few items over there while dinning in and took “chicken Tikka masala” and “garlic naan” home for dinner. Later at home, we found out they gave us “panner tikka masala” and “plain naan” instead.
Rang them and made them aware of the order being messed up. The guy on the phone was very professional, he made an apology and got our food delivered all the way to South Morang.

Staffs were super friendly and Namaste greeting was really impressive. They were super helpful as well.
Food was 10 out of 10. Really loved the texture of momo and thali set was well decorated and was really delicious.
Bhatmas sadeko had really unique taste that made me order the same for the second time.
Ambiance was perfect with live music.
Would recommend everyone looking for Nepali food, you will not be disappointed.

Friendly and quick service. The food was a bit expensive but very tasty. The live music was a bit loud for the place.

I ordered a chicken biryani in uber eats. I have never have such bad biryani in my life. No flavour, cold, too much spicy. It looks like they just warm it and send it.
