Lovely old style pub. Very nice staff. My meal - chicken wrapped in prosciutto with a mustard sauce was delicious. Unfortunately, whilst my husband's filet mignon was "tasty" the meat was quite chewy. Our table for 2 next to a large table in the atrium was quite noisy. We would return due to the style of pub and lovely staff; hoping for a better steak!

Great service and a wide range of delicious meals, caters for small and large groups with outdoor eating when weather suits.

I went to the boundary on Sunday with my client. (I'm a support worker). Access for Walker was fabulous. Staff were amazing, helpful, cheery and good looking to boot! Food and atmosphere were delicious and I will definitely go back when next in the region.

We truly enjoyed a lovely lunch, warm and friendly service, great value meals from the special board. All 9 of us will return again soon.

A good solid pub meal. Perhaps a case of way to many items on the menu, could do with reducing options and mastering the tastes better. Thai beef salad was more steak on salad, no Thai sauce taste.

The staff here are superb and so welcoming. The food and atmosphere is perfect for a place to dine away from home.

Fabulous food and cocktails! My mother and I ordered the lamb shoulder and the lamb cutlets from the bistro menu and absolutely loved our meals. Our cocktails (S*x on the beach and Fruit tingle) were also very enjoyable, as was the sticky date pudding. Would definitely recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere as well as my snitzel burger, however it didn't quite knock my socks off though.

Have to sat i used to love the boundary, on the night we went i wasn't overly impressed with the meal, most was good but veggies were under cooked i also got the very dry hard ends of the meat that shouldn't have been served, we were early and there was very few customers at the time.

We ate at the Old Boundary on a Sunday night. 4 adults and 2 kids. We visit every time we come to Bendigo and my parents eat there for every celebratory meal. So we've been a few (!) times. Tonight we ordered 4 adult main courses, 4 entrees, 2 sides, 3 desserts and 2 kids meals, plus drinks for a total bill of $300+. The menu says, "KIds eat free (on Sunday), up to 2 kids meals per adult main meal". So, according to the menu, we should have been able to order 8 kids meals for free for 4 adult main meals. We ordered 2 kids meals to start but my son didn't like his, so we ordered another kids meal. Initially, staff said this would be included in the deal, but the waitress then told me the chef didn't agree and I needed to take it up with him. So I did, but apparently, what I was asking for, what was specified on their menu, wasn't "fair". I was only applying the rules according to their menu. So, after arguing with the chef for 10 minutes, I decided to pay for it. I am from a hospitality family, and do not want to be considered as treating a business unfairly. However, if they don't mean there are 2 kids meals free for every adult meal bought, then the menu should say that. And we'll never return.

Amazing Vegan options. Plenty to choose from! The variety of dishes is refreshing, unlike most restaurants in Bendigo. Highly recommended if you have dietary requirements. Staff are very friendly too!

Great country pub, with loads of old world charm and atmosphere. We had the express lunch and each meal was perfect, definitely a cut above the average pub meal, but really good value. Highly recommended.

Seems the menu and the chefs have changed since last time.got the same as last time we went but tonight's was very different.thought it over priced for what you got.we won't be going back there.it was great the last 4 times but not this time

Great meal, great atmosphere, great prices, loved the history on the walls and Angus looked after us at the bar but it was let down from a 5 star to 3 because we waited 55minutes for two meals. Would come back, but would expect quicker service next time.
