Okami Japanese restaurant

Food was decent. Service was reasonable for this type of restaurant.
The pricing is good, I think it represents good value for money eating here.

Food was tasty but Luke warm. Food ordered didn't arrive several times. So disappointed as booked for valentines.

Just went okami dromana, only to be greeted by a maggot crawling out of my chicken katsu. To add to that they said it came from my vegetable gyoza, and to top it off they charged me and my partner the full bill for the experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND

We have been to different Okami restaurant and Okami dromana is the worst. It’s our second time here and it’s a second time disappointment The wait was long, the food wasn’t fresh enough and it wasn’t tasty. Most of the food was cold and was impossible to eat cold (

Went here tonight and it was mostly delish. The fried rice and Udon noodles very very oily, would not recommend those dishes, hopefully they can work on that and prawns very watery and a bit tasteless. The other not so good thing was, some of the young staff don't know how to waiter. One young girl lent right over us whilst we where looking at the menu, to get our finished glasses, very in your face and very rude. Owners could and should spend some time to teach their staff how to collect used dishes and how NOT to bang food bought over to you, on the table. Other than that, the rest of staff members where very friendly and the rest of the food we had was beautiful. Would go again for sure. Stars only off for staff behaviour and oily dishes.

The staff members are super friendly - we did have to wave them over a few times however. The food is great considering how quick they bring it out to you. There aren't many gluten free/vegetarian dishes but we made do for the people in our group. Would go again for sure.

We also have been to other Okami, but DROMANA is the best~ the staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager was very discerning. Also the food was high quality. We loved it.

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Service was great and all staff knew the menu well. Drinks were reasonably priced and tasted delicious. Good of course was amazing. Highly recommended the all you can eat special

It's our second visit to the Dromana store and we had a great time. Food is delicious- fresh and plentiful. The staff are so lovely and polite. Wendy is a great team leader!

The place had a great vibe, Super friendly staff as always and the food was absolutely beautiful. Can not recommend it enough especially for the price, can't miss it.

Okami, Dromana is a lovely new restaurant with excellent staff and very tasty Japanese food. We (a group of 5) had a really good night there. Corkage of $10 is a little high but overall we had a great, all you can eat, meal.

Enjoyed our first taste of Japanese food at Dromana. Friendly staff and very helpful. Unfortunately my husband had an extreme reaction to Msg as advised by Dr. Do you display anywhere msg may be present in food? Sorry we will not be able to return, too risky.

Horrendous service. The most incompetent wait staff I've ever seen. Food given to wrong table, staff not knowing what the table numbers were, food coming out cold and then food not coming out at all. Waiting over an hour for some food to be served. Absolute circus. Venue is too large for the kitchen. Any review here above 2 stars is having a lend of itself

Delicious food, beautifully presented, great variety, good value. A terrific way to taste different Japanese dishes. We will be back!

Had a fabulous evening with my partner, we didn't book but walked in around 6: 30 and we could tell it was a little busy, but even when the staff were running around, they stopped by and asked if we needed anything whenever they could! We both thought the price was steep at first, but trust me when I say you get your money's worth.

Definitely recommend the plum wine and the chicken karaage.

Unfortunately not enough staff to take orders or serve food in a timely manner. Every dish was served cold making most inedible. We ordered a small sushi plate, was delivered a large one which we could not finish. Upon paying the staff member had a go at us 3 times for over ordering and wasting food. We told her 3 times we didn’t order the large sushi and most other food was not eaten as it was stone cold. As there were not enough wait staff we had no opportunity to ask for assistance during the meal. We were constantly trying to waive people down to ask for the status of our orders - which was also taken down incorrectly. It took an hour to receive our drinks. I would not recommend or return to this restaurant. In future, I would suggest having a better ratio of staff to customers to ensure orders can be taken and food delivered on time.

I bought take away for my family and although the service and atmosphere and everything else was perfect, the food itself was not really something i would order again unfortunately.
