Oishii Tokyo

The food was super flavourful and delicious! We had the soy garlic fried chicken, which was flavoured well and super crunchy. The udon we had was super bouncy and the misu soup was a good balance and was not too salty. The server was so sweet and gave us complimentary kimchi pancakes, mochi and kitkats - will definitely have to come back and I would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the curry pork cutlet. The portion was plentiful and I especially liked the pretty bowl it was served in. Also, the owner was so kind that I would like to visit this restaurant again

Do not expect any sushi or sashimi here.
They have rice bowls, curries and side dishes. My favourites would be their udon beef curry and soy garlic fried chicken. It was on point. FYI they dont do alcoholic drinks or BYO. Probably more for quick grab.

Always come here for my Chicken teriyaki rice bowl. Quick and reasonably priced

Another Korean owned restaurant pretending to be Japanese restaurant. The food is ok but 100% not authentic. It was overpriced as well for what you get - I get it, inflation and cost of living played a part in this. I got the bento set and takoyaki and that added up to almost about $30 altogether with takoyaki being $8 for 5 pieces
Takoyaki in particular was missing a few key ingredients - pickled ginger, spring onion was missing. The batter was soggy and not crispy. If you’ve been to japan you’d know this

The best beef rice bowl I’ve ever tried and believe me, I’ve tried sooo many. It was so tasty and the portion perfect! I got it delivered but I was so impressed that I had to check in maps the location, I’ll come soon to know the restaurant and try another dish. I literally can’t wait!

I have never eaten here but I’ve had to walk past this place daily for the last year. There’s a rank putrid smell that comes from the parking right at the back. Like dead animal. If it was only once I’d understand but it has been like this for over a year, I’d be a bit concerned with hygiene and contamination at this stage

Had the teriyaki tofu rice bowl as my first meal after getting into melbourne. Did not disappoint

Fled the freezing Friday sessions at the f1 Grand Prix in Melbourne and was looking for a warm meal to thaw our frozen bones. Stumbled upon this restaurant which had a warm ambience and the best bowl of teriyaki beef udon I have ever had. Staff were polite and attentive and food came out in excellent time and very reasonably priced menu. No hesitation to recommend this for anyone in the world. Cool Deco and action figures.

Excellent food, and reasonable pricing. Its got a cozy vibe, but nothing that stands out much. Staff are very nice, and quick with orders.

Wow. I found this place on uber eats by accident. The portions are good, the value for money is excellent and they were fast. Food arrived piping hot, too! *****Recommended*****

Delivery driver from ubereats left my order in the gutter of the building next to mine rather than actually trying to deliver to me or contact me

Best korean fried chicken ever! It even beats the chicken i had in korea, The staff are lovely and we order almost every week. Always left satisfied:) 10/10!

Korean owned Japanese food, $11 for veggie soup but without veggies, asked owner to add a bit veggie not only one vegetable leaf but he refused. Never go again!

Super expensive sushi and small rolls. Other menu items are ok but pretty basic ingredients. Much better options in the area for a similar price.

Very small restaurant (mostly oriented for take aways) with very good bento, but the soups should be a little bigger and better for that price.

I was in a hurry therefore I ordered online before I rock up. However, every customer that arrived and ordered after me got their takeaway first whilst I sat there and wait. Quality of food is decent for the price

? Delicious Japanese dishes at a very reasonable price. Staff are very nice. You may see Totoro, but there’s no catbus service, so you’ll need to get there with your own imagination.

This is the closest feeling I get to being back in Japan. Fantastic value, delicious food and the friendliest staff. The shop has a simple setup and an easy to follow menu.
I love the Japanese inspired artwork. My next mission will be to try one of the many Japanese drinks on offer.

Amazing and humble staff. I ordered for the very first time and really enjoyed the food. So I decided to go and dine in again the food was so delicious and yummy.

I was so reluctant being a vegetarian but wow the Spicy Tofu Rice bowl is a winner there.

Chef is so welcoming and always has a smile on his face!
