O'Heas Bakery & Deli reviews
60Amazing family business. Sweets and coffee are to die for. You won't be disappointed and possibly the best and friendliest customer service you'll ever experience, thanks boys. Keep up the goodwork
New burger menu: the vegeterian burger is delicious, but unsatisfying. Your overheads won't be damaged by including a good amount of eggplant to replace the patty. Or sweet potato, possibly?
Horrible hot chocolate. Asked for a snitzel sandwich and received a cold tomato lettuce and chicken snitznel roll. Horrible
Great service, great food. I was in the area for work when I was recommended to have lunch here. The guy behind the bakery was super friendly and helped me pick a selection of sweet and savoury food for my partner, who was having friends over. The food was a hit.
Thanks
Great selection of baked goods, deli and other foods. You will never leave hungry. Old school place which is a vibrant local catchup place.
Love this place. Everything about it is good. The pastries are the best though. A great place to go if catering a morning or afternoon tea. I love the variety of products in the deli too. Just fancy little delicacies you may not find elsewhere. Love, love, love!
O'Hea's Deli is my favourite breakfast stop at work. The service is quick and friendly, the food is delicious and there are a huge range of sweet treats as well.
It is also an Italian deli where you can purchase all your cooking needs.
Great old school Italian bakery and deli with solid coffee to boot! All you San Pelegríno and cannoli needs covered off at the one location.
Best hidden gem this side of town.
Classic cakes for miles and a hearty old fashioned breakfast menu.
Sporting a deli, bakery and good selection of continental food goods, O'heas bakery is the kind of place you to for a coffee and walk out with a loaf of bread, three cheese, packet of pasta and a cannoli.
I wish I could live here.
I dont normally review but the anti pasto platter in particular was outstanding. Best one I've had. All other products 5 star, great people running it too.
Great food, variety, excellent service & as such, does get crowded. Chairs aren't the most comfortable either, but I will be back.
Love O'Heas bakery, great bread you know there is no nasty ingredients, great variety of food, snacks and deli items and much more. Good coffee
Good coffees, any milk you want - almond, spelt, and even full cream. Great selection of deli products, and wines.
GREAT food all baked fresh and quality with the friendly team making you feel very welcome. Good coffee but not the best but at least drinkable.
So many delicious cakes, breads etc to choose from. Defeantly be back to check it out again soon as this was just a quick pop in
Feels like you are at nonna s house. Everything is fresh, great coffee, cakes it's a little Italy in Coburg.
Very expensive. $10: 50 for a roll X2 btw, (i thought it was $9: 90 before i ordered) this is a price break through for a Sandwich for me.iver worked all over melbourne, would expect it in Toorak.but Brunswick? Over $10.seriously get a grip.
And the roll was not particularly good, not much meat, bread was dry and crumby, sandwich was extremely chilled! From there display cabinet.not even freshly made for $10: 50. Also purchased a drink, foreign made Chinnotto. $4: 90 for 375ml X 2 btw. I thought Ned Kelly was dead.apparently living in Brunswick it seems.
Also purchased 2 cakes, (both $4: 90) A small custard tart.and it was very good.also a Ricotta filled flakey pastry dessert which was very good as well.but $4: 90 for the Custard tart is extreme.the flakey pastry ricotta dessert i can forgive.
I also purchased 2 Brioche rolls, im not a fan of brioche, i dont get it? They always seem dry.i can see how the butter flavour is appealing.but id prefer something else)
but of the brioche i have eaten, i thought these where some of the best.
If it was not for the cakes, would have been a vote of 1 star.
Spent $43 for a couple of rolls, 2 cakes and 2 drinks and 2 90cent brioche rolls to take home at a surburban bakery.everyone around the area must be on $200K +
I stopped by here for a coffee and breakfast and I was completely blown away. Not only is this a cafe, it is also a bakery, deli and grocery store. The place was packed with busy and welcoming atmosphere filled with laughter and love.
There is such an amazing selection of food to choose from I didn't know what I wanted as it all looking enticing.
When I went to order I found it was confusing trying to figure out where to go, then once I placed my order I had to go over to the cashier to pay. Being a first timer I didn't find the staff helpful or good at explaining what I needed to do or the offers available to me (once I ordered and paid I realised there were coffee deals that I would have brought). Though as mentioned the place was full and they were probably busy.
My coffee was average (I probably wouldn't come here just for coffee) however the food was tasty. We had a toasted sandwich and it was mouth-watering.
It seems that this is a local landmark so I would recommend coming to visit especially buying your items from here to support local. This is a cafe, bakery and deli as my grandma would say from the good old days. I will be back here again to try the cakes and other food as well as do some grocery shopping.
Very handy deli and bakery. Not over the top - just good quality food.
Some speciality Italian foods and ingredients.
