Oh Happy Day Cafe

Lovely looking cafe, however was very disappointed when I ordered and paid extra for a decaf cappuccino and was given a normal caffeinated one. I am highly allergic to caffeine and was shaking for the rest of the day. They need another barista (for take aways maybe) as I waited forever for my coffee as a patron.
I found the seating to be extremely uncomfortable. I get why people make kids "play" areas but in such a tiny space it doesn't work, kids were on the floor and building blocks every where. Not against catering for kids, I'm a mum of two, but they should rather have toys like books or colouring in things to do so that the children can sit by their parents table and keep themselves entertained. Hope my comments are seen as only constructive criticism and hope the owner uses them for room for improvement as I believe it is well situated in a great community and I want to see it prosper? Really happy to see another local cafe. It's still new so hopefully I can change this to a 5 star soon. The coffee was well made. The food was okay. Nothing special (yet). The staff, fantastic! Biggest negative? The environment. Loud, clinical. They need to consider the acoustics. It's not a comfortable place to be with all hard surfaces. The large wall on the back should have some soft material/paintings/canvas/foam anything just to dampen the sound. Try not to put the music up too loud (don't wait till someone asks). Maybe even cushioned seats. Anyway, will see how it develops and hopefully a nicer place than what's down the road.

The nice staff lent us the key access to restroom when we just passed by this area looking for washing room. So we decided to be the customer to express thankfulness. Serene surrounding environment but lots of customers. Served delicious butter toasted sourdough and fresh squeezed juice. Wifi available and awesome customer service.

Food and coffee here is amazing. Owner and staff are warm and friendly. Would recommend anyone in the area to give them a try!

I can’t believe we finally have our own cafe in the Saltwater Coast area. And especially one as good as this one! The coffee is amazing!

Amazing place to go for a chat and have breakfast. I tried the vanilla milkshake and it was sweet but not too sweet creating a nice balance in flavour, the food is just as good. Even though the place is a little crowded the service still is very fast. This why I highly recommended going to this cafe.

Found these guys week one of their opening and really find it hard to go anywhere else. Great to finally have a local!

Staff were brilliant! The caramel slice was delightful and from the response, our group of ladies were just as happy with their meals. Can't wait to to go back and try somethibg else!
