27The store layout is very easy to navigate and find things. However, in my experience this store is only worth visiting for stationery items. If you are hoping to seek expert advice with anything technology related, you're best to drive a little further down the road, to JB Hi-Fi. Sadly, on several occasions, I have visited this store to gain advice about some sort of office technology/equipment and been unable to gain assistance from staff. I've often tried waiting as long as 10 minutes, even when the store has been relatively quiet, too? If you choose to purchase technology here, I would recommend undertaking your own online research and be 100% sure about what you're after, instead of relying on experts at Officeworks to assist you.
First time visiting this store and pleasantly surprised at the excellent customer service. Very well done.
Sarah served me at 8am this morning at Waurn Ponds. She was kind, very helpful & went the extra yard with customer service. A very pleasant experience. Thank you Sarah.
Will not go there again. Poor customer service even when they are not busy. They guided me to the wrong section to being with. Then had to ask the girl at the front three times to send someone across to the printer section and help me with the inks that I was after. No one even came. Eventually I left without getting what I needed after waiting for so long. All they say is "oh sorry". Not good enough, the least you could do was to at least try and get me what I was after.
Will never go there again.
When it's quiet I like this store because there is always plenty of staff on to assist, although you may have to interrupt their chats.
Today when I went in to get a doc laminated, there was quite a long line for print services.
I looked around and noticed 1 staff in print shop, 1 on checkout, 1 greeting, 2 helping 1 customer and 3 standing in the middle of the store chatting.
After a while staff member Zack asked if they could help anyone with a purchase etc as he noticed the line at print shop not moving.
After a bit longer and I decided it would be quicker to buy a laminator for home. But I couldn't find them and had to interrupt the 3 staff still chatting in the middle of the store.
Zack served me at checkout and was really polite.
To have 8 staff on with 3 chatting for an extended period and 2 serving a single customer while there are long lines at checkout and print shop and is pretty disappointing. That many staff should equal good customer service.
It seems only half the staff are concerned with customers though.
Probably just easier to order stationary etc online in future.

So many staff on the floor with no customers to serve. Long queue at checkout and only one staff member. Train your staff better.
Printed over a hundred sheets of A1, A3 & A4 documents. Asked the lady if I could have three rubber bands to help seperate the order. She refused and said she could only give one rubber band per customer
Congratulations to the staff at Waurn Ponds, in particular in the Office Chair section. We tried chairs and what we chose was unfortunately not in stock. A quick check and they were found to be in stock at Warehouse. Three days later, we did a very quick Click and Collect with the help from Tom who insisted in loading everything into the car for us. This also saved us the delivery fees that would have been applicable for the two big boxes.thank you Waurn Ponds we will be back.
Super impressed with the customer service of these guys. Ordered some click and collected items and got the notification back within 10 minutes they were ready to pick up! The lovely Elisha on the till was very bright and positive, something a lot of young workers lack nowadays, and Brodie was so helpful in helping pack my stuff to the car. Thanks Officeworks Waurn Ponds will definitely be coming back here in future.
We were doing click and collect and the girls working here are not even wearing their masks properly and not social distancing when doing the click and collect!
Swift and generally courteous staff. Coming from Melbourne to a regional store the speed of everything is much quicker. Like being at a private school more teachers per student.

I often call into waurn ponds officewoks for supplies and printing. On each occasion I leave feeling very impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff are. Today I was supper impressed with how helpful the print staff were and the very friendly service from Leanne at the checkout. I actually commented "This is the friendliest Officeworks in Australia.

This is the 3rd time its happened.
Would prefer there to be no box on shelf so i dont waste my time.
Always seems to be if item is on sale too so i have to buy more expensive one.
Should change motto from "low prices every day" to no stock every time.
Very poor customer service. The behaviour towards the customers were rude and they didn't have any helping nature. Very disappointed.
They never have the stock

Office works has lost so much business, due to their “country” delivery charge being $25 minimum.
How we count as country when we are only 20 minutes from a store is strange.
This store itself is clean, always stocked, young staff are always friendly. Elder staff are seemingly unhappy.
Online shopping major disappointment, instore not so bad.but who wants to shop instore these days really.
