Big thank you to Luke and Brent at Mornington Office Works they went out of their way to help me find something I had lost. They were on their hands and knees with me. They definitely went the extra mile to help me.

Usually Offiworks provides a superb service even and especially at the end of the working day. Today, Saturday, I was disappointed, when at 3 minutes to six I was instructed to leave the queue of 2 persons because service was about to terminate at 6 pm. Even though the website advertised a 7pm closing time.

Disappointing service - was wanting to know what isle a particular item was located in, after saying “excuse me” as someone walked past i was greeted with “im serving someone” before i could even ask my short question.
Very disappointing as her response came off short and rude before i could barely get a word out.

Amazingly kind and informative staff! I had bought a printer from them earlier in the day and went home and set it up, after the initial setup the printer would not print and told me I needed to clean the paper roller? (I still have no idea what that is) in a state of panic and tears after trying to rectify the issue for 30 minutes I had called Geeks2U who recommended the printer may be faulty and to return it. As I returned to the store on the brink of tears a staff member immediately came to my aid and after explaining my situation two young men (I believe one of the men’s name was Lucas and the other man had black hair) quickly helped resolve the issue offering to replace the printer, change the printer or even a refund. As I loved the printer and all it can do I wanted to replace the printer and try again as the office works staff had recommended the printer to me after I explained what I will need it for and how much I will printing and scanning and giving me the best advice on which printer would be best for my needs. They quickly and efficiently replaced the printer making conversation with me and keeping me informed along with having some laughs, this took no longer then 10 minutes and I was on my way back home. After setting up this second printer it worked amazingly, with no issues. The staff at office works mornington have always been so kind and informative and how they handled this situation proves just how amazing there staff are 10/10 will always go to them for any technology purchases I will be making in the future. ALWAYS GO HERE! AND THANK YOU TO THOSE TWO MEN! YOU BOTH DESERVE A PAY RISE!

Really poor experience. Unhelpful, rude and passive aggressive staff, will avoid store in future if at all possible. Wouldn't recommend unless you have no alternative.

Just visited Office works in Mornington with my fiancé. We were wanting to print our wedding invitations and had our own design pre made but had no idea about sizing or paper types ect.
We were served by Callum who made the whole experience so stress free! I actually don’t think I have ever received such amazing customer service EVER. Not only was he polite and helpful but even though I thought I was being annoying and indecisive he most definitely didn’t make me feel that way, he was so kind and accomodating.
Thank you so much Callum, you definitely deserve a raise or bonus as I heard other customers complimenting your amazing service while in store.

Re recall on a Comsol battery purchased 5 years ago. Advised by the ACCC, the manufacturer+ extensively covered on Officeworks site. A legal requirement, it is not subject to company policy. Senior staff should know all of this+ also know the POS procedure (+ also have a professional customer service focus). Instead I encountered Fiona who clearly doesn't know the former but she sure knows company policy on receipts. Strong on receipts. Who keeps minor receipts for 5 years? But for the recall I would never have returned it. Its an unsafe product+ its caused fires+ serious burn injury so although it still works i can't use it. I don't care if they gave me cash, or even how much cash, or a replacement but the preferred option of me wandering off unsatisfied with nothing because I did not have a receipt was not on. Im sure many people do wander off after encountering staff like Fiona- its a win/win for manufacturers+ retailers+ so much nicer for staff not to have unreasonable company policies challenged. I persisted+ eventually got replacement -same again. The costs of these recalls are not borne by the retailer but by the manufacturer (as it should be when they sell dangerous goods) + to a lesser extent by the ACCC as the regulator funded by taxpayers. The inconvenience (time + travel) of these returns is borne by the customer (me), with a side serve of poor retail service thrown in as an extra. Fiona needs retraining+ needs to understand company policy does not trump consumer law. She will have happier days at work if she aggravates less customers who are required to stridently assert their consumer rights in the face of her intransigence. We don't have to shop in a retail store+ we don't owe staff a living.

The print shop here is amazing. A huge thank you to the staff member, whose name escapes me - sorry! - who helped me with an evening program booklet and went the extra mile for them to look great. The customer service at the store is outstanding. Thanks so much.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to your employee Tatiana at the print shop. She went out of her way to help me print out a couple of canvases and did an outstanding job. She was the friendliest young women with a lot of knowledge. It was busy but she was incredibly patient with me and it made the whole experience so much nicer. If she didn’t already work for you then I would offer her a job.

The Mornington store is quite large with an extensive inventory, from pens n paper, computers, laptops and printers to all sorts of tech including wearables from Apple and Samsung to various tablets. Of course they have consumables for a myriad of models, printer inks, oencils, textas, cables, external HDDs, SSDs, etc.

Very disappointing service today - the card reader for the photocopier was not working! Did any staff place a sign to advise customers of this - stood in line for staff to ignore you and not even acknowledge you. Not impressed!

Has the rudest manager I have ever encountered on the phone didn't even get to finish my enquiry and she (D M) just hung up on me. Maybe she should think more about helping customers and NOT her personal man instore
