Officeworks Altona North reviews
61Was asked to bring in an entire study desk when there was a manufacturing defect chip in a drawer panel that needed replacement. Only that one piece needed replacement which I had brought in. Internal policy and bureaucracy gone wrong.
Their printers wont work and charge 49 cents per page to print.
Bought few printers from Office work before and they wont last for more than a month. Frustrating
Absolutely fantastic staff were on point! Great experience, binding and copying some really important documents! Can't thank them enough! Highly recommended
Looking for a part for my office chair. Great customer service from manager Dave and his assistant.
Alex took my call, on our way, confirming they had what I wanted in store, as I entered I was Greeted by Alex with a big smile and he knew exactly what I was after and went back to get it for me. Such amazing service! And well presented Store with everything you need for my Office. I’ve now got my favourite officeworks store Saved thanks Alex for looking after us so well. And the Kind professional staff behind the counter even offered to email a receipt. So I have to say, I’ve been to a lot of officeworks stores and they all seem to be very much the same when it comes to this fine service, so it’s a testament to the management who train their staff to do what they do. But Altona North is by far the best I’ve seen to date always helpful and Great staff.
Avoid this store, the skills of the store manager is that of the ‘dumb and dumber’ movie.
Intelligent converse and helpful manner will not be found here.
Would not bring click and collect to the shop front door for an immune compromised family still in lockdown. Covid isn't over for everyone.
Incredibly slow, systems not working in print and copy area. Card machines not working. Very slow customer service.
Friendly staff but they stuffed up a simple printing job. Combined pages in the wrong order. When you pay $70 for some basic printing you'd expect it to be correct. Next time will do it myself at the office.
Incompetent staff damaging the reputation of this brand. Serious actions must be taken if this shop wants to stay in business in this area. They simply don’t care how busy it is at all and they don’t understand customers needs.
Good car space and convinent to shop with office supplies. Some products are expensive though
Had a play with some pencils. We bought printer paper, envelopes, stamps and a pen. All went very smoothly.
A few days ago I had to purchase a new printer after mine broke down. The customer service I received from Dave at the Altona North store was phenomenal - he knew his stuff, offered great advice, was friendly & I can happily say that my new printer is exactly what I was after. The retail industry needs more Dave's!)
Had to print some things this morning, and was having issues trying to send etc. The young lady was so helpful and had great patience. I did not feel at all under pressure while trying to sort it all out. Sorry I forgot to get her name.
In my opinion, the photo print quality is quite poor. They use very cheap paper and there is option to chose gloss paper either. Also, the prints are 15c, compared to KMart 10c.
I went to KMart and the quality of the paper in gloss is a lot better and way cheaper.
Walked the store for nearly 30 min 2managers were to busy talking between themselves about cars than to be bothered to assist any customers who were in store. The staff member behind the counter was lovely but will never return will drive 20min down the Road next time
Taking the service out of customer experience. Attended this morning to pick up a printer. After 15 minutes of no assistance (noting there were three staff working in the printer aisles). After googling a review and selecting my printer, I asked one of the staff how to get my heavy printer and he “kindly” referred me to the front to get my own trolley.
I am sick of going to retail stores where it is the new norm to ignore customers in reference to whatever other job staff are ordered to do. I will order online from now on because at least they deliver to my door.
Print area is understaffed and the manager Chris needs to learn how to communicate with customers better.
I Waited for 1.5 hours for photos to be printed then the staff only printed half. I think if the people working in the photo department put half as much effort into doing there job as they did for making excuses and ignoring customers people might leave happy. But I guess customer service is a thing of the past. Avoid this office works at all cost if you like being treated like a human being
