Officer Fish and Chips

Ordered butterfish chips sth melb dimsims lamb souv. Picked ip the order all wrapped. Unwrap at home no lamb souv. Chips soggy fish soggy dim sims soggy. Drive back to get another lamb souv more onion than any thing else in it. Sth melb dim sims were fake. Not sth melb! Tasted a bit wierd and were really small. Complete rubbish. The excuse was we are really busy. What a cop out. I should have driven back and made them eat this.

Consistently great fish and burgers, always fresh and crisp, never had a bad batch and have been coming over a year.

Thankfully didn’t spend much but geez, ordered 5 pieces of calamari and chips. The calamari was inedible, literally leftovers from the look and taste of it.

When the shop opened, the food quality was way better.

Best fish & Chips and friendly service. Have been going there for over 2 years now and never been disappointed with the quality of the food or service.

No stars from me. So disappointing. Burger with the lot is the size of a cheese burger and the size of their minimum chips is an absolute joke.
Manager too busy to take my call.
Will not be going back.

Little hidden gem

We have been going to Officer Fish n Chips for over 5 years. Staff and management always have a friendly disposition, the quality and freshness of the fish is excellent, we have never been disappointed. Beautiful chips, golden every time, you can tell they change the oil regularly as other peoples chips are brown and unpalatable. They have wonderful combinations of different packs to make ordering super easy when you’re in a hurry!
Honestly I’ve tried all the Fish n Chip shops in the area and Officer Fish n Chips ticks all the boxes! By the way the Hamburgers with the lot are epic - better than McDonald’s.

In my humble opinion, one star is too high. The chips used to be crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The fish used be be a very generous portion, with a delectable crunchy batter. The potato cakes were the best. What happened?
Now, the chips are more yellow than The Simpsons and are inedible. The fish was tiny and tasteless. Potato cakes were okay.
Their timing needs work too. They told Hubby it would be ready in 40 minutes, he still went down early to find the shop empty and our order waiting. They apparently packed his souvlaki pack chips in with our twin pack, but lucky we were severely short changed there because they were completely inedible! We hope you can lift your game, but in the meantime we will be moving on!

We have been going to this fish and chip for a while now, never a problem tonight we ordered 2 steak sandwiches NO sauce the girl even read that back to me then the younger "man" jumped in and said she was doing it wrong and guess what there was soooooo much sauce on there
I could smell it. They were smothered in it.
I rang to complain and asked for a refund and he refused.
Just lost our business!

Owner was very short with me when I asked him which fish has the lowest mercury due to being pregnant. He pointed out to the gummy and said that’s the popular one. Doesn’t have knowledge on the fish he sells. He seemed flustered. The owner at arena fish and chips knows exactly what fish he sells. Chips are so yellow.seems like it’s cooked in old oil. Fish was tasteless. Quality has gone down.

Great fish and chips, great service. Everywhere else doesn't come close. It's a must if you need a fish and chip fix.

Alex and his fantastic team have great customer service and The Best flake around... I drive 5km and past 3 other fish and chip shops to come here weekly

BEST FISH AND CHIPS! This is the only place I will buy my FNC from. The owners are lovely, the food is cooked perfectly and they have the best fluffy & crispy potato cakes. I highly recommend this FNC shop! Thank you for the great food guys!:)

For me it’s great fast, reasonable priced fish and chips.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to put this at the top of my list because they can be a bit oily and not the best at times but I still go here on occasion.

At this point in time there’s defiantly better fish and chips shops in Paky.

Best fish and chip shop around tried Berwick Pakenham had that awful taste, this fish shop is spotless and fish is fresh and best chips and potato cakes ever

Impressed, dropped an order off midday Good Friday for pickup 6pm.knowing it was going to be busy and order was ready 6: 03pm with queues out the door! Well done!
