Odyssey Nails Highpoint

My mother had a disappointing experience at Odyssey Nails.

The service provided for her, a simple eyebrow waxing, was poorly executed. Not only that, the technician missed several hairs, requiring my mother to clean up her own eyebrows later.

No mirror was provided by the salon. This meant my mother could not see the end result of the service, which was not only frustrating for her but also added to her overall unhappiness.

My mother believes that the lady who did the eyebrow waxing for her could not see properly due to the dim lighting, making it difficult to see the work being done.

In conclusion, she would not recommend Odyssey Nails for beauty services. The professionalism was awful and not worth the $20 she paid.

PS: My mother also noticed on two short occasions that the lady who attended to my Mum, that staff member was talking to another staff member in her own language, and she could speak fluent English. Mum found this quite rude.

I got my nails done my Amy and it was truely amazing I got ombré and they were great. Super happy with them

The staff here were very attentive, especially Ny who greeted me when I walked in and did a fabulous job of my nails, always checking to make sure I was happy with the result

Emily did the ombré nails for my mum and Hannah did my nails. They do such a great job of our nails and they are so sweet. Thank you for the great nails girls, we love them!

Seen Hannah today who took great care of me. Quick and effective with a great end result, I’ll be back for my wedding nails in a few weeks

I hate giving bad reviews but I feel this time I need to. I came here yesterday to get my nails done for my wedding, The beginning of the experience was lovely- the first staff member was kind, careful and gentle. Halfway through my manicure, the staff working with me was asked to go perform another job, and someone else took over. This second lady was rude and rough- it was super painful when she was cutting my cuticles (this shouldn’t hurt), causing them to bleed at the ends on 2 fingers. She would then tell me to relax my fingers, which was quite hard given pain, and forcefully shake my hands demanding me to relax. When applying shellack she was so rude and rough, pushing my hands away into the UV box, then snatching the other hand to paint. While it seems silly- the difference between somebody gently calmly and kindly looking after you and somebody being so rude and rough can totally ruin an expensive. Not only that she cut one of my nails down to the nail bed to the point where it’s almost bleeding between where the nail meets the skin of the nail bed. They fixed it by putting on fake nail and reapply polish. Overall the nails look good but the experience was totally ruined by that second staff member.

$65 is expensive for a pedicure! Especially when you're asked to sit down at a dirty station, only half cleaned prior to starting the treatment. Asked for the process of a pedicure to be done properly - it was rushed, rough and they intended to leave steps out to attend to the next client. I was happy with the end result, however it's not worth the price!

I got shellac manicure & pedicure, let’s say i wouldn’t come here again. My manicure was so bad, had lumps and you can see by the 5th day that the shellac was chipping and starting to come off. Paid $110 for the both of them and feel completely ripped off. I had to end up going to redo my nails after a week because they were starting to chip.

Bad experience. The girl did not do a good job. I’ve my nails done as shellac manicures but the colours really thick, asked the lady to fix so many times but still not as I expected. The colour not cover my full nails, has bubbles on top of the colours and she said it will be fine after putting the top coat on ‍️

Very unhappy to get the pedicure (without color) at this salon. I just wanted to get my nails shorter and clean the skin (around the nails). But the staff couldn't even do the job done properly. All the fingers nail are different length, the nail's skin's still there. And l had to pay $30 which was over price to compare with other salons. Not worth it at all.
I'll never come back to this nail salon again!

Seriously the best Nail Techs in this area! I’ve never had bad nails here, from any of the girls!
My nails are perfectly detailed, clean, intricate & perfectly thin. Not think like some places.
My nails are the ones with white details (SNS on my natural nails with gel details) & my girl friend got more natural look (acrylics nails oval shape & shellac polish).
Seriously amazing & fast!

Disappointed in the service we got today. Was overcharged for a shellac removal on my friends toes when it was only me who got the removal. The spa pedicure was very rushed. She did a very quick dip of my feet in the water, quick 10 second scrub of feet and again a quick rub of the moisturiser scrub on the top of my feet. Shellac applied after. Did not feel pampered for $70 each. I usually get a much better service that is cheaper with a foot massage from another store. Unfortunately, I would not recommend.

Terrible place. Didn’t do what I asked even though I showed a photo of simple ombré nails to three people. They were gonna paint my nails red for no reason and when I showed them the photo again, they said they’ve already started (cut my nails and prepped it for shellac when I never said shellac) and can’t redo and kept repeating costs. Very unprofessional-kept laughing and joking when I was talking to them.

When you want the "my 5yr old did my nails" look

Rushed job, staff screaming at each other constantly, owners hovering the whole time, extremely uncomfortable environment and to top it off, once you're done you need to awkwardly disturb every other customer to get from where you sit to where you pay and leave

Nail techs are undertrained, they owners and staff now it but as long as your money is in their hand, they couldn't care less

Stay clear of this sweatshop scam

I have been getting my nails done here this past year and am almost always happy with the service/shape every visit! Emily in particular is very talented & the other girls have been great too - just be patient as they do get busy!

I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the outcome of my nails. I had Lucy as my technician and she was fantastic! She really took great care to make sure my nails were perfect, ensuring that I was happy every step of the way. Definitely recommend Lucy!
