Octopus Car Wash

Came here on Sunday evening. I have used other auto car washes before but not this one. As soon as the car went in the last spot a gush of water came on the car and then nothing. No instruction or signs on what I am doing wrong. Went to the middle spot car wash. Same thing. With the middle spot car wash it didn't give me 2 receipts for even though I pressed the button. Gush of water and then nothing. I rang the contact number given. The man was polite to speak with. I told him what happened. He was defensive and said their signs are clear and he won't refund my money even though I didn't get to use the soap or the service during the two failed attempts. This car wash has taken $38 ($19 each for the two times my car was not washed). No empathy towards customers and extremely poor ethics when dealing with customers hard earned money. It hurts especially now when everything is so expensive. From my previous reviews you can see I am all to provide attention and support small business. Not this one. I will stay clear and hope no other unsuspecting customers get cheated like I did.

The owner and I spoke for 20 mins. He claimed he was to refund my money but because I didn't return his call on a Sunday night he held on to my money. He prefers 'not' to text in this day and age. He went on to condescend me saying how I am the 'only' customer in 20 years who didn't know how to operate his machine. Lastly if I want the money I have to make the time to come down to his shop in person and see him. Creepy and as a woman made me very uncomfortable. I asked him to keep his money and spare me the further agony.

I was informed by staff I’m unable to use a bucket, however, informed the worker that I was unaware about their rule and that I’ve paid for 12min. I said I’ll be done before 12min and that there are 3 bays free and available for others… he told me that if I continued to wash with buckets that he will turn off my water

Best car wash in the area by a mile! Warm water, instruments work well and unlike other places, don't scratch your car. $7 min.on card gave a comfortable amount of time to wash a car.

Well maintained facilities, warm water with some cycles, good detergent mix.
Maybe the pre wash could be a bit thicker.
I go out of my way to wash my car here.

Appalling disrespectful, rude and unacceptable behavior from the old white caucasian man assumed to be a worker.

Came here on a quiet weekday afternoon to meet with a friend to wash a car. Temporarily parked in the dog wash reserved car park (no one was using the dog wash stations and there was another free parking bay), this bitter miserable old man confronted me and told me this area was for dog wash parking only. When I explained that I understand that, and this is quickly just until my friend arrives, he rudely interrupted stating he is “not interested in my life story” I was shocked and disgusted. Mate, trust me you don’t want to know my life story. Maybe learn some basic manners and how to talk to people. Do you feel like a big man now? Pathetic swine. You don’t treat your customers (or anyone) like garbage. Ironically his work ugly old one tonner ute was also parked on one of these bays.

Nevertheless, both of us immediately left and went elsewhere. I have been coming here for years and recommended this place to friends and family. After this incident, I will make it a part of “my life story” to inform everyone I know to avoid this place like this plague. And judging by some other reviews, I can see that others share similar rude unacceptable behavior.

It’s look like a hangout and cars show off place then a car wash everyday after 7pm so many burnout cars loud music with young thugs gathering and parking their cars in vaccum bays and playing loud music and vaping, i will not come to this place for car wash again

Very good, excellent water pressure on the hand wash bays, vacuum excellent suction and plenty of room to move around.

Good well maintained facilities, haven't had any issues with the coin machine, vacuums have good suction.

Well located car wash that has a great faculities. Accepts cards which not all car washes do. Vacuum bays are under cover which is great no matter what the weather.

Best self serve wash in Airport West.
Hot wash works exceptionally well
Auto wash does a great job, best wash is $15, cheaper than some others in the area charging $20.

You will have to pay $5.20 minimum on card if you don't have cash. Besides that I loved it. Wide lanes for car wash and vacuuming.

Best self service car wash I have been to heaps of time for the money you out in. Would recommend.

Duration, price, quality of products and pressure are all great. Change machine give money not tokens and always is clean and well maintained.

Used the auto wash $15.20 and it failed to remove this big bird Dookie and specks of pollen. Also no dry function on the wash so not a fantastic result for me.

Easily the best car wash in the area. Value for money and all equipment is in top condition. You will not be disappointed washing your car here… Great stuff

I try different car washes when I am around town, and I find myself always returning to this particular car wash, always clean and always in service with 2mins = $1.

The best self serve car wash. Hot water and products that actually clean. Decent time allowance.

On site attendants incredibly unhelpful and rude. Brushes to clean ones car are kept in a horrible condition, would not recommend.
