Ocean Grove Cedar Cabins reviews
15This was a beautiful little cabin with everything we needed, I loved the attention to detail from the cleaning to the complimentary wine. Dianne and Graham are wonderful hosts. Thank you for letting us stay.
Great place to stay,
Very quiet and peaceful
It's our second time their and definitely recommend it
Amazing cozy cabin with spa, clean, comfortable, beautiful bottle of sauv on arrival with assorted chocolates - the hosts go above and beyond to make it a welcoming stay. We’ll be recommending to everyone and be back for sure!
Wonderful stay at Ocean Grove Cedar Cabins. The hosts are so welcoming, with lots of unexpected extras like wine, chocolate, and breakfast supplies. Super helpful, and polite. The location is perfect, quiet and peaceful whilst close to everything.
Cabin was clean, well equipped and very comfy. We will definitely be back!
Very nice cabin. Very clean and tidy.the owners were very friendly and nice. Made us feel so welcoming. Love the little treats left for us here and there.perfect place to come with family and friends.
A beautiful short break at these cabins, great for a weekend away or a break from the bustle of Metropolitan city life.
Wake up to the sounds of nature, birds chirping and the serene sound of being in a place that is tranquil and relaxing.
The cabins sit central to many attractions such as beaches, wineries and only 25 minute drive to Portarlington if you wish to venture out.
Enjoyed my stay at the cabins, owners are very friendly and provide a personal touch to make your stay comfortable.
Highly recommend a stay at the cabins.
Stayed here with my partner the first weekend we could after lockdown in Melbourne. The owners greeted us on arrival and told us everything inside was complimentary. I thought he was talking about shampoo and conditioner.instead there was a bottle of wine, chocolates, juice, milk, bread, condiments, bottles of water, coffee and tea! We booked one of the spa rooms and there was a bottle of single use fancy wine and milk bubble bath and a fresh candle which was amazing too. To top it off there were small bundles of fresh flowers everywhere. Not sure if they do this for every stay, but we are not special people and I certainly didn't request any of it simply to impress the missus. We were stunned! The location was also great, quick drive to town and away from any noise. The places are very new too, I was just disappointed I didn't have time to use the BBQ on the front veranda. Couldn't recommend this place enough, big thumbs up from me!
My partner and I stayed here for the weekend while we were in town for a wedding. We just needed something as a base and this was perfect. Comfy bed, everything we needed.
Chocolates and wine on arrival was a really lovely touch. Breakfast, fresh milk and coffee in the fridge was also unexpected but so lovely! Easy to find and still felt secluded.
Really great for the price. Thanks!
Lovely accomodation, very clean inside and out. Hospitality was very good, nice and private. Nice for a short romantic getaway. Reading some older reviews commented on the parking difficulties, however, we didn’t find it difficult at all. It was easier parking here than most of the shopping centres.
Thank you for a lovely weekend and we hope to be back at some point in the future.
Will not return, cabin clean but very outdated, no wifi, tv pictulated the whole time while watching footy, certainly not boutique accommodation, taps came off our shower and spa luckily hubby a tradie and was able to fix them, pillows the hardest have ever slept on! Were like sandbags! Spares were like ones you use in a babies cot spoke with other guests they agreed also, only saw host when we finally tracked him down after a phone call, we booked our 2 nights through greatweekendsaway, very disappointed so that why I am giving a low review.stayed next night in boutique accomdation, cheaper and beautiful, if you stay at cabins I advise don't forget your pillows.
Amazing service, everything you need there on-site. Very thoughtful, small however cosy. Was able to secure in new years eve. Close drive to surrounding area, shops nothing in walking distances.
Great place to relax, we based here to tour the Bellarine Peninsula and it worked perfectly! Cozy and clean facilities, quiet and peaceful. Dianne a great hostess. Chocolates and wine on arrival a nice touch. Everything for a light breakfast included. Would come back and recommend to everyone. DVD and movies available if that’s your thing. Thanks!
Honestly, place is over priced, its clean buy not very good for tall people.bit out dated cabins.
A Lovely peaceful place to relax and unwind. Clean and comfortable and friendly. What more could one ask.
The business owners are the main problem.
When you telephone they never answer. You have to leave your details for Dianne to call you back.
They grab all your money when you book (which I have never experienced before) and then there's confusion about the price being charged afterwards. On arrival, Dianne is never available and hubby always "knows nothing". They are so unprofessional that its almost insulting.
If you are in Cabin 1 near the road, the driveway is so twisted and narrow to access that its a major back and fill job to get the car parked next to the cabin.
The electric air-freshener they had operating was so sickening it made the place smell like a toilet.
