Ocean Beach Pavilion

Great lobster rolls, but those chips, oh those chips were on another level. Washed down with a glass of champagne, what could be better?

Great venue with a lovely ambience and extremely friendly staff. The open area is a great spot to hangout with some mates and enjoy the weather. Food options are limited, but they do have interesting food vendors set up every now and then, so watch out for them.

We booked for 8 people for lunch. We sat inside as it was raining, we left after 5 minutes the place was dirty, staff non existent the whole place looked unkempt and filthy. There was no way we were letting our kids in the playground. Front garden area was knee high in weeds. They need to lift their game.

Shocking service, food was presented as though it had just been extracted from the Woolies freezer section.

Food was pretty poor, and service wasn’t great. Bar staff was lovely however wasn’t impressed highly over priced for frozen dumplings

Great vibes! Only thing I would say is maybe add a few main meals, share plates are nice but would like to have options for a meal like a parma/steak.

Wowee food was delicious came Sunday and had dumplings and much food. The cauliflower was unreal. Food served quick. Staff friendly. Kids loved the chicken and spring rolls. Quality food. Kids playground is great. Good atmosphere!

Beautiful location, great kids play ground, food was nice, but lunch service was slow, classes very dirty, tray that empty plates came in for 15 people to serve cake in was greasy, empty plates had grease on them, tables where never cleaned from the last patrons that ate there. Very expensive. Unfortunately will not be going back or recommending this place.

Absolutely loved our lunch at ocean beach pavilion … so much so, we went back the following day. Delicious food, great atmosphere and an awesome space for kids to play.

Beer in plastic schooners. I'm sure there is plenty more to say. But beer in plastic schooners is the down fall. Eeek

I was rudely refused entry due to being from interstate. I had my license ready for them to view and without being given a chance to explain or speak I was refused entry and told to leave. After being asked to speak to a manager but they said to me to call back the next day and ask why. Do not recommend unless you are a melbourniane. This is an act of discrimination.

Stay away from the lamb dish and chicken dishes, lamb was 80% fat and chicken was a dry and slightly burnt, worst meals we have had in a while

Had a few drinks here late afternoon. I tried the original margarita & mango margarita, both were tasty. Will return to try their food menu as looked good. Big venue with lots of tables inside & outside. Service friendly.

Could be a great spot, was overcharged and payed for water. Staff were cool enough but clearly hungover.

Toilets were in pretty average condition from the late night before.

We had a bad experience the online menu didn't reflect the current menu. There was so much confusion among the staffs they kept asking for order details and mixed up the orders.

The quality of the food is not that great (Prawns XO was over cooked). I have attached the current menu so that people don't have the same issue as we did.

This place is fantastic specially on the sand with the hut enjoy time my special man and the food and cocktails were amazing

Security act like thugs. After waiting 3 hours in line. I decided to jump the fence at the back. Admittedly a silly mistake. When I was caught I was passive and admitted fault. The staff member grabbed me and punched me in the ribs causing it to brake and took weeks to heal, he also threw me onto the ground out the front breaking my phone.

I would not recommend anyone to attend a venue with violent staff.

We had such a lovely experience today! Beautiful cocktails, amazing little snacks (sorry no pics of the snacks because we inhaled them! They were that good!) Service was great, always smiling definitely will be back! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a chill atmosphere, great food and amazing cocktails!
