Oaks on Market

Had a broken fridge when we checked in but the staff was very polite and patient. We were moved to another room and it was a very smooth experience. The receptionist also pointed us to where to go for attractions. The breakfast is quite heavy though as it uses alot of fatty foods and fried foods. Still worth the $25.

Fantastic exactly what we need booked this in a snap service was amazing very informative and friendly the room is spacious amazing value for money hotel amenities are present location is a star! Walking distance to everywhere we need to definitely staying again

Really good service, clean rooms and a good view. Breakfast was good. Gym facilities are not bad. Overall good value

Good location for Collins St. Public transport. Difficulties with checking in, only one two minute park available and not managed properly.

I miss this spa so so much.has a nice pool, excellent shower facilities, lots of towels.

Downstairs has an amazing modern foyer that smells absolutely divine and a bar, dining areas, a carpark, gym, and a stone's throw from the tram. Takes about ten to walk over to Bourke Street mall, or two tram stops to Spencer station.

Has a fantastic array of meals available and can be bought to your room. The new buffet breakfast is meticulously crafted and an absolute must to include with the room!

The staff are very helpful and the rooms.golly gosh, posh as with ultra modern updates.

Also has a kitchen and clothes dryer and dishwasher! Saw they have live entertainment too on occasion. Can't wait to stay again.

Really great I could live there. Staff very accommodating. Love the smiles all round as it makes you feel very welcome.

Spacious room with limited views however easy access to the city via walking and or public transport. Close to various amenities for parking, food and entertainment. Limited options for TV, Foxtel was mainly sport and no way to gain exact details for anything you watched. Parking was close around a 2 minute walk. Room service was an option but we didn't require this. Good little kitchenette with fridge and stove top and microwave. Unfortunately our fridge froze our food and drink but at least it was cold

We attempted to use the pool and sauna thought didn't last long, kids diving into pool and more than the recommended number in the spa even as we waited patiently this made for a short use of the facilities

We couldn’t get into the building with our pram (we have a baby) because there is no ramp access or lift. We had to carefully lift the pram up or down a flight of stairs every time, which was awkward and hard on our backs with all our other luggage. No disabled access for wheelchairs- no idea how they would get inside. Really made it difficult for us - we would not have stayed there had we known it would be an ordeal getting in and out the building. Not suitable for young families.

Staff are exceptionally helpful and professional. Great facilities, excellent food and service.

I cant say much more than the room fantastic for a person with bad knees chairs great height couch great to sit on views great. Beds comfortable pillows like home. Property has stairs out front disappointing for people with bad knees and parking not on property. But a worthy hotel to stay in ill go as far as say its nicer than to top hotels.

Thanks to Ebony and the team at oaks on market for our wonderful night stay. We had a great time away for our anniversary. Will definitely be staying again.

Very nice and clean. Views were amazing from our 21st floor apartment. Facilities were excellent, the pool was a little cold, though
It was quite busy with kids, due many parents having to cancel their Queensland holidays.
Will return in the not too distant future.

Great reception staff that were friendly and responsive. Room was clean and facilities were nice. Pool, sauna, gym and spa were well maintained.

The only downside was that the tv was a bit dated and had a restriction that disallowed HDMI inputs. This was disappointing and strange and my partner and I have never experienced this at other accomodations.

Pleasant friendly staff. Room on the 15 floor had great views. Clean and comfortable. Great Melbourne location. $12 for 24hr parking. Walk tram to everywhere in the CBD.

I'd like to give 3.5 stars but I'm fine to round up because of how great every staff member was. The absolute highlight of the stay here was how nice and helpful everyone was. A 5 star team.
The hotel itself is a little tired but it's perfectly neat and tidy. The bed was incredibly comfortable as was the other furniture.
Unfortunately we had a number of inclusions with our booking that we didn't receive upon arrival and had to call reception for. When these inclusions did arrive they were far from what was advertised. In fact, I don't believe we received a single item as advertised and what was provided was pretty gross.
The location is great, plenty within walking distance and a great position for public transport. I'd stay here again.

I was disappointed with our stay here. The room we booked was changed and the shower drain needs a thorough clean. Movies from the late 1990's and early 2000's on outdated tv's was not good either. The Manager was nice, housekeeping were nice but other staff were not. For the price $670 for 2 nights we expected more.

I stayed here for a brief, last-minute business visit over a weekend.

My colleague and I shared a 2 bedroom suite. Hoping for a good view we asked Erin at the front desk upon check-in. She took time to make sure we got a top floor corner room. The views were amazing. We had a Service Dog with us and he was treated wonderfully with all members of staff aware of how to interact with him. But, most special was how Erin helped to prepare a surprise momento for my colleague. She showed her creativity and willingness to participate in a fun moment that will become a wonderful memory of our visit. Thank you.

I am writing review after looking over years of pictures of weekends i have stay in the city for events, boys weekends, and just couple getaways.

This is my go to hotel for the CBD.

Always competitive in pricing.

Great central location.

Staff are always friendly and problems are always fixed quickly.has a pool and Gym (dont know if this has changed recently)

New Years in an upper level river facing room is the best view in town.

The room is clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. Just the walls are quite thin can easily hear people talking next door
