Oakleigh General Practice

Me and my whole family have been attending this practice since 2018. Dr Martinova is very detailed, caring and kind. She often goes the extra mile to help patients. She never rush the visit, always takes time to explain everything. She is the only one GP in Oakleigh Link, I agree it would be good to have more doctors available. Sometimes there are delays and I have to wait 15-30 minutes for my turn, but I know this is because dr Martinova is busy caring for another patient/doing related paperwork. I often see her running around the clinic taking calls from patients, calling hospitals, asking the receptionist to fax something or print the script, and I sometimes see her leaving the clinic very late.

Dr. Martynova is very caring and helpful. Sometimes it is difficult to get appointments for any emergency or if you have to book for next day as there is the only doctor available at the clinic. It would be great if there are couple of doctors available at the clinic.

Dr Martynova was very thorough in treating my condition. I only waited several minutes in the line and the staff was welcoming. Finally found a caring GP.

Got a call as I was getting ready to head down for a booked appointment, saying the Dr needs to cancel due to emergency patients. No other doctors available for the rest of the day. No alternatives given when told I had booked in advance because I really needed to see a doctor. Second or third time in a row this has happened. Ongoing issue, but clinc doesn't seem to have done anything to address this reoccurring issue.

Great clinic with great doctors. Easy to get an appointment online for me and close to station.

I find Dr. Martynova very helpful and caring - sometimes there is a wait but always because of an emergency and her thorough treatment of patients.
I would not hesitate to recommend all the doctors who have attended me at Oakleigh and Brighton.

Swaroopini is a fantastic GP OB, if there is a wait to see her, it's worth it. The practice itself is really nice, feels new and clean.haven't seen any of the other doctors, came specifically for swaroopini:) Unfortunately if you don't have a healthcare card there are fees.
