Nurture One Steel Street Children's Centre

Terrible place - they are short staffed and send kids home if they have a normal temperature of 37.5 - but they still charge

My 2yo loves her days spent there with the caring, experienced and wonderful educators. She's learning so much and having fun at the same time.

For the last 9 years I have had at least 1 of my 3 kids attending.
The educators are always supportive friendly.
We have all enjoyed our experience here.

Our 3.5yo twins have been attending full-time care for just over 2 yrs. Both of the girls have grown so much within themselves since starting there.
The educators are nothing short of amazing! They all go above and beyond to make sure that not only the children attending the centre are ok, but also their families too. I honestly can't thank them enough for all that they have done and continue to do for our family.

My 3 year old has attended steel street children’s centre for just over a year and we have had such an amazing experience! She always comes home so happy and excited to tell me about her day and which activities she got up to that day. The meals are so creative and nutritional, and despite her being quite fussy with her food, she absolutely loves it! Highly recommended.

We first started at Steel Street over 4 years ago when my son started attending. I was incredibly anxious about leaving my son but the wonderful staff made the process so easy and smooth. They constantly kept me updated and would always reassure me that he was having an incredible time. My son thrived and developed an incredible bond with so many of the educators. My daughter now attends and looks forward to her days there. She has made some wonderful friends, both children and staff. The staff have always gone to incredible lengths to ensure my children's happiness and to keep me informed about their days. We couldn't have asked for a better group of educators to care for our children and help them grow.

We absolutely love this centre, the management team and educators have always been so accomodating with everything, they always go above and beyond for our daughter, they always work hard at making even the small things like drop off easier! Highly recommend this centre, my daughter has always come home happy from her days spent here.

We couldn’t be happier with sending our daughter Elyssa, to Nuture One Steel street Healesville. The staff are super friendly, and they really seem to enjoy looking after all the kids.
The daily notifications on the app are fun to read, and keep us up to date with the activities she has done during the day.
At drop off time we struggle to get a goodbye out of her, as she is super keen to get inside …. This makes us comfortable knowing she loves going there too!

My daughter Isabel started at Steel Street in August 2020. She was 11 months old at the time. I was nervous about starting at a mainstream daycare centre as I had only experienced family daycare settings with my eldest daughter. The staff at Nurture One were so accommodating, they answered all my questions in a professional and caring way and made me feel very comfortable. My daughter has loved Nurture One from the day she started. They have supported her every step of the way in a very kind and caring way and Isabel has absolutely thrived in the time she has been there! Isabel adores her educators, in particular Paige and Lisa. I would definitely recommend this centre to any of my family and friends.

I've had two kids here for the past 4 years and it's been great. My kids absolutely love it and have so much fun and have learnt so much. I love all the stuff they bring home from pictures to holiday presents. The educators are lovely and go above and beyond for the kids.

All three of my children have attended Steel Street and the centre goes above and beyond. My children have grown so much over the years and its all thanks to the amazing educators. The welcoming environment creates a sense of belonging. I would highly recommend Steel Street to all of my family and friends.

My 19 month old has been going to Steel Street for the past year. She loves it, her social skills and talking etc are developing so well and she has always had great naps which is always appreciated. What drew me to Steel Street initially was the separate sleeping room when they are babies and now she has moved into 'Nursery 2' which she is enjoying. While my baby is a picky eater, the meals always look better than what I am having for lunch and I love the app which tells us exactly what they are doing/ eating/ sleeping/ nappying throughout the day. Highly recommended

My daughter loves attending the centre. She frequently talks about her friends and loves the educators. The staff are supportive, and the communication is excellent.
