Nunawading Community Hub reviews
13I really enjoyed going to each counselling here. The facilities are clean but cosy. Very calm atmosphere
This is a well laid out facility. We've been twice in the past month. There's been ample parking each time we visited. The indoors is inviting. It is designed with accessibility in mind, ramps at appropriate inclinations both outdoors from the carparks and within the building. There's a good size kitchen with ample crockery and cutlery to match the seating and extended sitting areas. There was 2 vending machines in the main areas with drinks and food at reasonable prices. The meeting rooms are spacious and have good technology standards.
I go to this place to study every week, and the environment is good. Great for us seniors.
Fabulous centre, very fortunate to have this local activity hub. U3A has so many options from Economics to Dance Exercise to Scrabble
Easy parking, attentive reception, great function rooms for meetings, clean and comfortable rest rooms.
Staff and volunteers always friendly helpful. Other u3a members willing to stay around to chat and have a cuppa. Arrive early though as parking sometimes a problem
Lots of space for holding community events with both indoor rooms and outdoor areas. Clean venue, good for clubs.
The best ever basketball court that i have played on!
kindly staff and advanced facilities.
Really enjoyable!
Highly recommended.
I went here for the? Annual Gem Fair last weekend - it was well attended and a lot of fun and interest. Lovely little Community tea and coffee stop within. I got some lovely rocks & lucky dip bags and very profitable mineral mining
I was apart of a student group that filmed at the Hub and we dealt with Lisa during our filming period. She was very lovely and very accomodating. We couldn't be happier with the location and the support provided by staff during our stay. Definitely a great asset to the community.
I attended here for both covid jabs.
All the staff were supportive, professional, kind, efficient and happy. No feeling of being rushed. Appointment was on-time - no waiting.
Reports and covid Vax cert were uploaded to my Medicare history within 36hrs!
It's all quite new but beautifully planned. We enjoyed a concert in the park in a very good setting.
I visit this place four times a week as part of U3A Nunawading Member. THE FACILITIES ARE EXCELLENT. Well thought out- Small rooms, Large rooms, Stadiums. Levels Accessible by lift and stairs and long ramps. Big carpark (Has to be!). Still "fine tuning" Aircon (but forgivable! As the "Heat load" i.e. Headcounts in gyms vary drastically HOURLY due to number of participants). A credit to Council.
AND OPERATIONALLY FOR ME, A credit to All on U3A Nunawading.
THANK You!
