I attended this school from prep to year ten. Not really a bad christian school but honestly I rather go to hell:) Staff and ex high school peers will continue to bully me, like hello I’m clearly more aggressive than anyone >>

My recently turned 5 child started attending Prep in NCC mid this year. I will not go into the nitty gritty details however, it is worth many mentions that the Head of Primary, Ms Catton and Prep teacher, Ms Austen for going above and beyond working with our family for a couple weeks - to ensure our child settles in well, in providing honest and knowledgeable insights and in putting my child's best interest a priority.

My child was unsure of being in a new environment and meeting new people on his first day but by the end of his first day, he was adamant that this is it! Second term this year, still enjoying going to school!

They are no christains and have no christain values. I did a school tour without my son, was looking for yr 7 next year they were very convincing. I was ready to enrol my son then I mentioned to the co-ordinator that my son is autistic well everthing changed, no sorry we can’t accept your son without even seeing him straight out NO we did other school tours and they all accepted him. If you want a school that has christain values then don’t bother with this school, they should have christain taken out of the name

It’s really bad experience for my kid in this ELC for 3 days only. She said her teacher who is the room leader L, pinched her when she was crying. It’s easy to see an obvious triangle red mark on her neck for two days. We can’t believe it and still wait for the results of investigation. As for the way ELC deal with the problem, we are not satisfied. But currently we can see the principal of college and her boss is paying attention to work on it.

My kid can express what happened ver clear. We can’t image how much pressure for neck can cause marks for two days. The most important is, at least she can distinguish who hurt her.

We waited for the position for one year, but really disappointed. As I know, L is a new teacher for this school. I still would like to believe that the other teachers in this school are kind and hope that every child can be truly protected without monitoring system.

Hope my child can get an apology so she doesn't think crying is punishable.

Finally, I would like to thank Megan and her boss, Ashley, for all the work they did on this matter. They took it seriously and were willing to spend time and money on it, which makes us more comfortable accepting results that are substantiated. We just hope that this matter no longer affects my kid's life, and she can be happy every day in a new place.

My son and our family completely love this school. We love the dedication, love, and excellence offered by this school, alongside the amazing teachers, communities, curriculum, and most importantly the strong Biblical values being demonstrated in every part of the teachings. Thank you I am grateful to have enrolled my child here

I attended NCC from Prep to Year 12. I owe a lot of my education to the teachers and community there who have helped develop me as a better person. The school offers great support in all areas, stretching beyond education and into faith and personal development too. Made some lifelong friends and I still enjoy going back to the school even after I’ve graduated

I was new to Australia coming from South Africa and this school welcomed me with open arms. All the staff was really supportive and helped alot. The classes are also good with the teachers making the work fun that helped me alot. I am really sad that I am leaving to a nother state. Would highly recommend enrolling your kids in this school.

Even if they had asthma.today my niece was send home because she has asthma since child and the school have the doctor letter and even puffer at school if needed but still she is not to attend school until she have provided she has asthma again they said it's government rule? ‽? ‽?

Teachers are absolute cows, facilities are awful and sporting is astronomically terrible. Always favour the same students and politically try to brain wash students.

NCC Secondary is terrible, send your child anywhere else. The Head of Secondary is very rude and extremely discriminatory. Not a safe environment for kids with health issues or disabilities to learn in. Very low standard for learning - some classes don’t even have on-campus teachers and students are essentially expected to teach themselves.

This is one of the best school ever. A much better improvement from my old school. All of my siblings have gone here and the ELC has grown and is a real life changer in the kids lives, I myself have seen it first hand. Trying to pursaude my sisters to let her daughter come here in a few years

The high school is great they are open to questions and the teachers are like your friends so its much easier to ask questions they also have a elevator so if you are on crutches or are in special need students will try to help as much as possible.i love attending this school i would hughly recommend this

Ncc is the best ever since I moved here I enjoyed learning. There never once was a day I ever said I don’t want to go. I found that teachers make so much effort to teach us and make us laugh. At my old school teachers would be mean to students and not make learning interesting. I always begged my parents to make me move and I’m glad I did. Also I found that there is no bullying at my old school bullying was HUGE if you’re the meanest you’re popular if you were nice you were like a ghost. I remember in fifth grade I was either absent a lot or late and the teachers would tell me and I would try my best to improve but I couldn’t in year six the time I’m writing this I improved a lot. At my old school my best friend was absent or late a lot and the teachers would yell at her set up a punishment put her in detention and write a letter to her parents. The reason she’s alway late or absent is because she has low nutrients and so she couldn’t fight germs like a normal person. So she would have to take a medicine which she had to eat at a certain time then she couldn’t eat for a long time so she would get ready for school the eat breakfast and leave by the time she leaves there’s heavy traffic and on days that she would feel weak she couldn’t go the school knew this and still punished her. I got sick a lot last year and even though I don’t think I told the teachers they told me how I can improve the last thing is I used that maths like straight up hated it so much I hated the guy who found math and my old school Mae it worse they never told the concept and just shoved a sheet of paper in front of us and then expected us to do our math. But here at ncc they told us the concept do one or two questions together to make sure everyone understood it then let us do the rest and now I look forward to maths my math teacher even sends fun maths websites that help in. Timestables areas perimeter angles and many more. The year I’m writing this is I year six and two years changes everything

I love it how ncc say when I was leaving you said come back and visit. What bull you guys literally let me come all they way back to the school and say literally get lost I mean what the hell man that’s just cruel. And when I went there you charged me for sexual harassment do you know how serious that is and the teachers were spreading rumours about me not the students teachers. I see you have replied to all the other hate comments to the school “the owner” reply to this then. Don't take my review down why do you keep doing it can't handle the truth.

If you notice, all the negative reviews of the school are left by past students while the positive reviews are left by parents and/or teachers that only leave positive reviews because the school administration literally begs for them. Any student that attends Nunawading Christian College will immediately notice a few things; the only 'benefit' of attending the school is the "community" it presents as accepting, friendly, and encouraging. While this is somewhat true, students eventually realise that the school severely lacks any other benefit that would usually accompany a private school with a tuition you pay thousands of dollars a year for. Most of the teachers have no interest in the subjects they teach, while some are severely ill-equiped to teach at all.
What most parents want for their children is a good education, especially if they're willing to pay thousands of dollars on it. Unfortunately, Nunawading Christian College places very little emphasis on the importance on education, and any ex-student could recount multiple stories that prove an attitude of 'your education comes second after your spiritual development'. I understand this is fine for some parents, but still should not be the attitude of a school. The principal also threatens students with punishments that don't exist, warning students that 'failure to attend school 3 days prior to a SAC will result in potential failure of the SAC, and potentially the subject'. Once the principal explicitly claimed that this rule came straight from the VCAA, which is a complete lie. Also, students studying VCE Art this year are forced to sacrifice time before and after school, as well as lunchtimes, because the school apparently found it too difficult one of the most common VCE classes into a timetable that fit within 9 to 3 hours. Some students are forced to spend 9 hours a day at school now if they want to do Art in year 11, which I consider unacceptable. Honestly if I could summarise NCC in a sentence, it would be 'we just want your money and don't really care about what we do with it. '

As a new CRT teacher working at NCC, I have been amazed at how friendly, accepting and respectful the students have been towards me. I’ve been impressed by their uniform presentation, punctuality and positive attitude towards work.

On one occasion, I was particularly moved by the words of two students who expressed their gratitude for being at NCC and to the teachers who have helped them develop spiritually. I believe that the College has a wonderful balance between academics and spiritual life, as well as sports and creative arts.

Nunawading Christian College is a wonderful place and I'm so grateful for the days that I get to spend with them.

Very caring school with a great learning environment. I have sent my two boys there since prep and have never once have they come home and say they don't want to go to school or they don't like the school. Both boys are in high school now. Highly recommend the school. The school has achieved great results (see better education).

NCC is one of the schools that I do relief teaching at. Over the five years of teaching at this school I can honestly say that I really enjoy it when I work at NCC. I know that it is going to be a good day! The students are the most polite and well behaved students of all the schools that I work at. There is a unique and beautiful spiritual vibe at the school which I have never experienced anywhere else to the same extent. The teachers care about their students' wellbeing, education, and spirituality. The teachers pray for the students everyday. The VCE results also speak for themselves. If I had kids I would send them here.
