Nunawading Carpet Court

Kristy and the team @ Nunawading carpet court were highly professional and extremely helpful. They attended our home on time and efficient. Several times I called to update and confirm timelines and every time they either provided accurate responses or followed up and returned calls within the time they promised. Very happy to recommend.

Kristie was awesome to deal with. The quotations she provided for both the timber flooring in our study and carpet for the master bedroom were very competitive. During the installation process we had some challenges with the installation of the timber flooring and Kristie was very professional and flexible in her approach and worked through the issues with us to everyone's benefit.

Derek Bailey (owner) doesn't seem to have any interest in quoting on a carpet job that he said he was interested in - both he and his receptionist/advisor both said they had an interest, apparently Trish sends the information to Derek Bailey who does the quotes and that's where it ends.
It seems a lot of reviews of this business are quite negative so maybe his not quoting saved us from a negative experience.
Maybe it's time Derek Bailey retired and let someone with energy re-vitalise the business.
Disappointing and a waste of time.

Recently had these guys (carpet court nunawading) install carpet in a property in forest hill. Great service from our visit to the store, the quoting process and through to the installation. Installers were Lovley and rite on time for me to let them in and love the job that they did. We will be re- carpeting our residential home soon and will 100% use them again.

Thanks to Andrew Bailey and the team at Carpet Court, a good experience from our visit to the showroom, through to quoting and installation. Friendly professional service, agreed timeframes met, the layers did an excellent job and all in all we were really happy.

Whilst in the timber floor store today, a timber floor wood sample fell onto my leg, causing a deep laceration and bruising. This timber floor sample was not properly secured with any straps or a holder. NO staff (2 staff members present in the store) paid any attention to this incident or my injury despite the obvious bleeding that was present. No first aid was offered until I asked for a tissue/bandage to stop the bleeding. In fact, the staff were too preoccupied with taking their lunch break and ignored my injury. Unbelievably, one of the staff still was only interested in trying to sell me a timber floor sample. This is unacceptable and unsafe behaviour for any business in Australia.

Very quick to take your money but hang up in your ear when there is a problem that they caused!
I booked and paid for a house full of carpet to be laid on an agreed date. They laid the carpet 2 days earlier (before house was completely empty) and therefore laid carpet around something that was being removed.
It is a small job for them to fix but don’t want to know about it. As I said Anthony hung up in my ear! They won’t take responsibility for their action- as they have their money!
Dodgy company - smile in your face type of people!

Excellent customer service has lead me to write this review. Despite our order not being huge we were met with professionalism and a desire to help with our carpet purchase. Thank you Derek. We would like to highly recommend you and your store.

I’m disappointed that the carpenter didn’t do the trims for us, and he said this was not in the contract. When I asked him to fix and he said he would charge $100 for the job.
I’m not professional in construction and this is absolutely a surprise. I hope he is not the only one doing this in Australia.

Went in for general advice on carpet for stairs - twice, some months apart. Both times Travis Green helped us and was very pleasant and generous with his time and advice. His knowledge was excellent and steered us in the right direction. We thoroughly recommend Travis for your flooring questions and needs.

Bought a rug from the store this weekend. Very happy with the customer service and the product.

Had laminate floor done in my new home, sales was responsive. However three doors cant be closed due to floor trim is too high. The installation team just said they have done their job.i have to looking for a handyman to fix it, which cost me extra 200.

From the moment we stepped into the store the sales staff (Johnny Huang) were very helpful and honest about the best product for our home.

Had carpets installed in 4 rooms and was very happy with the job. Derek was always prompt and patient in replying when I had a lot of questions and asked about different quotes. The layers were on time and did a great job.

One person was good, she explained all types of carpets they had. However the other guy was rude. May be they are not interested in selling timber flooring, they cant even confirm any product would be available if we come back after a week. He did know of current availability and said he cant check it on a saturday. Why have u opened the showroom on saturday then?

I purchased carpet and had it installed by Nunawading carpet court and had a fantastic experience! The carpet came on time and was professionally installed. I found Derek to be quite the character to deal with (great banter). I still go there every now and then to buy Bona wooden floor cleaner off them. Always get treated well.

Firstly Derek’s mobile telephone is wrong on business card. Could not send a text from his mobile (no surprise). On the eve of installation I called to confirm the layer’s arrival time - rushed off the phone by Derek. Later that day called by Derek claiming wrong carpet was sent out by the central warehouse. I was told I was buying carpet in stock out the back at the time of purchase. When I challenged Derek’s story I “f.you come get your money back”.

Terrible workmanship with nails poking through the carpet injuring our daughter's foot. Very angry and unimpressed
