True craftsman. Rohan loves what he does - passion for mid century furniture and the craft of bringing out the best of each piece. Over a number of months, Rohan provided me with patient guidance on the process to reupholster my set of Niels Moller 78 dining chairs. The chairs had papercord that was coming undone. Rohan helped to reupholster in beautiful Kvadrat Vidar fabric. They look stunning. I couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Rohan did a fantastic job of upholstering our 1970s Tessa suite. He was very helpful in the fabric decision (and patient!), and we were extremely happy with the final result. Rohan communicated well throughout the process, and his work is of an extremely high standard.

Rohan restored and reupholstered our mid-century Rudowski lounge suite, comprised of 2 armchairs, an ottoman and a 3 metre long 4 person sofa. His craftsmanship is exceptional and I have recommended Rohan numerous times to many people. I’ve had other upholsterers look at my lounge suite who were extremely impressed with the quality of the work and they query’d who had done it and commented that Rohan’s craftsmanship was topnotch.

Rohan @ nucleus design has changed how we enjoy living and lounging at home.

The material he uses are gorgeous and they wear well (or more to the point they don't show any signs of wear).

His designs and focus on detail make his pieces easy on the eye, but also so comfortable.

I never thought I'd care much about cushions, but our couches (even our daggy old black sofa) now look fresh, stylish and inviting.

And the cushions from a couple of years ago on a custom corner couch Rohan did for us get a real work out from all of us, including two kids, two dogs and a cat that all call the couch and cushions home. Our funky gold and red Italian corduroy cushions covers have been washed so many times and come up like new each time.

Rohan recently undertook the restoration of a sectional lounge setting and arm chairs for us.
The work, communication, service and general care and attention to detail were outstanding.

Our lounge was originally made for the house in which we live for the original owners in around 1964, we were lucky enough to be able to purchase it and after 15 years in our ownership it was well needing a make over.

The large piece is really at the heart of our family life in the house so the undertaking of restoration was a big decision for us, to find a craftsman who understood the importance of the heritage of our job was paramount.

In this regard Rohan was a super resource, he patiently guided us through the overwhelming task of selecting an appropriate material, never becoming impatient when we changed our minds several times.
He understood that this was a decision that we would need to live with for another 25 years.

The final product is perfection, the cut and finish of the fine mid century design has been enhanced and improved. We love our lounge now more than ever and could not more highly recommend Rohan if you have restoration work to undertake.
