NRMA Eastern Beach Holiday Park reviews
87 Stayed on a powered sight for the Australia day weekend. The kids had a fantastic time splashing in the pool and jumping on the bouncing pillow. The playground is great for smaller children. Amenities at the park were fantastic.
This park is also fantastically located with a patrolled beach a short 5 minute walk away.
Perfect location, most importantly Great staff well I dealt with a male who's name I can't remember. They did movie night n other kids activities which is great. Pizza oven installed, Only drawback of this park I noticed is below average kitchen. Had no tools at all, no bins in kitchen which is inconvenient, I think labour saving hack may b. Over all pleasant experience
This is our second time here.
Great place
Just a walk behind the caravan park.
Dog friendly
Very friendly staff
We had an amazing long weekend away here. The facilities were incredible for the size of the campsite. It was booked to capacity when we stayed but even then it didn't feel overly crowded or busy. The kids had a great time and were kept busy with the movie night with free popcorn, the fairy floss and slushies as well as the temporary tattoos they had sprayed on. The kids loved taking the go karts for a spin, the bouncing pillow and the pool area. All well kept and clean. Thanks for great memories!
Junkies having a brawl on Eastern Beach Rd, jumped into the campsite pulled my tent strings shaking the tent and scared my new born baby.about 100 people partying on East Beach and walking down the road all night causing trouble, fighting and yelling. No security cameras on main road near the campsites only entry and exit.wouldn’t stay here if you’re not trying to get out of the tent at 3am and have to fight junkies off. Reception didn’t offer to move me or a refund when i told them we literally had people jump the fence shaking our tent. 100% never staying at NRMA eastern beach again in my lifetime.
Great kids play area, super good service
And well stocked reception, excellent facilities bbqs etc.large sites for caravans. Loved the beach close by for fishing and lake tyres close by.
Very well-maintained holiday park. We got ourselves a 2-bedroom cabin. It was a new one with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. The rooms are carpeted which is nice on winter. Very nice place, value for money.
Very well maintained park, booked a pet friendly 2 bedroom cabin, good size with balcony and had everything we needed for our stay, wouldn’t hesitate coming back!
If you comparing Big 4 with Nrma this is not a place for fun how ever its cheap but i recommend big 4, facility over all its dirty kitchen area is 1 out of 10
Bathrooms 5 out 10.
They said pools are heated but unfortunately its not and its open too.
Over all we not enjoyed at all.
But lake entrance is a good place to camp.
Ta
Great staff, happy to help but overall the park itself is a dull place. Camping at NRMA Lakes Entrance wasn’t fun at all. Kitchen was so untidy, never saw it clean throughout the duration of our stay. No basic essentials like dishwashing, scrubber, basic saucepan, etc.provided in the kitchen. Gas stove was yuck. Bathrooms and kitchen were not in easy reach from our campsite.lights in kitchen are timed, so if you need to use it for anything urgent late night, get your own lights. Recreation can be more fun, please have some indoor kids games that can be used during bad weather. And like Big4 keep it open atleast till late. Open Swimming pool was suppose to be heated pool but the water in the pool was cold.
Overall Been to Lakes entrance a few times and its a wonderful place but this time camping at NRMA was a big fail.
Worst place ever seen till now. Kitchen was so dirty. Usually the kitchen has kettle and few utensils and also some useful stuffs, this place has nothing. People come with dogs in the kitchen and eating area which should not be done. Bathrooms seems as if they are hardly cleaned. They seem to have an heated pool but the water was so cold. I personally feel Big4 is the best place for camping.
Customer service, facilities, park upkeep, location all great. We had an ensuited site. Hubby found the space to get van in a little tight but rest of the sites were fine.
Our relatives call into the Eastern Beach and we visited to find a pleasant well appointed caravan park with a great lounge tv room and cooking kitchen facilities.
Recommended.
The NRMA Eastern Beach Holiday Park was a good choice for us. We visited in November when the park was fairly quiet.
It is located a couple of kilometers from the centre of town, an enjoyable walk if you can give yourself the time.
This G'Day Park is well laid out, has some good children's facilities and a good range of van sites and cabins, both budget and swish.
The amenities are serviced daily in quieter times and up to three times a day during peak season.
The pleasant Eastern Beach Walking Track passes along the back fence and links up with the foreshore walk into town. It's great for a short waterfront walk where you can see birdlife including plenty of black swans.
The surf beach is located nearby, about 10 to 15 minutes walk.
Great layout. Fantastic school holiday activities like learning how to fish, movie nights with popcorn. Grand final day BBQ, face painting, fairy floss. Steep drop off so not a swimming beach, but great for fishing. Toilets are clean, staff are friendly and helpful.
Beautiful park kept very clean. Great to have access through gate to walking track into town. Very close to the beach.
My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the water villa cabins and we could not be happier with the service and amenities provided! The reception is super friendly and accommodating. Everything is super clean & modern. There are great heaters located in every room to make winter camping more comfortable (including in the bathroom!). The master bedroom even had a heated mattress pad and phone chargers provided. The rooms are very spacious which is great for couples or parents with kids.
We were surprised to find free Kit Kats, popcorn, hot chocolate, water bottles and milk in the fridge provided to us! We had a lovely stay and would definitely come again.
We had a great stop here, rates were good and spacious sites for vans, close to the beach and close enough to town but not too close. Quiet spot.no traffic noise
Amazing area to visit and comfortable stay in this caravan park. It is low season so it was nice and quiet with no waiting for facilities. The facilities were new and the water hot with a heater on a timer I suspect, but very welcome.
Had a few nights at the park. It's a short walk to the beach. Took us 13 minutes to ride into town (with the kids). The sites are a good size. The swimming pool was heated which was great. The pool is a bit small if you go during a busy period.
Would happily stay again.
