NRMA Bairnsdale Riverside Holiday Park

After having significant car trouble we rolled into the park at 1.30am with two cranky toddlers! The park seamlessly let us set up in a quiet area away from others and were very flexible with our unknown arrangements (due to car trouble). The owners were so great they didn't even charge us a fee for the night.great people! We are super grateful for their help and hospitality! Highly recommend staying here!

We had a delightful stay at this caravan park – impeccably clean, well-organized, and surrounded by many activities to do around Bairnsdale. The owners (Peter) were incredibly friendly, and the ‘Gippy Goodies’ morning coffee and breakfast van (Neil) was the perfect start to each day. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

Can’t go wrong staying here. It’s our regular go to when we’re in Bairnsdale. Service is 10/10, location is great and clean amenities. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. To cheap for a cabin could easily charge more. Good friendly staff or owners. Best place I've stayed of the 13 hotels I've had of my trip.

My husband and I came to the holiday park basically for a shower and a sleep on our way through. Cost us $73 for a cabin with our nrma road side assistance. We came after hours, the lock box process was seamless and well communicated. The cabin was clean and cozy. Air con/heater, a full kitchen, fresh bedding, towels and soaps - even had tea and a Tim tam waiting for us! Bath mats provided in the very well kept communal bathrooms and a lovely hot shower. The bed was comfortable but a little bit sunken in, it just meant we had to cuddle all night which we didn’t mind haha! Thanks and hats off to the great team who run this place!

We absolutely LOVED this holiday park. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin which had everything we needed. The cabin could do with a few little things fixed, including the screaming hot water tap in the kitchen and the gas cook top not lighting but we are being picky. This really is a great place, in a lovely spot on the river and the room was clean and tidy with everything we needed for a few days away. The staff are so lovely and helpful and the property was always clean and tidy. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

Good position close to town.
On River easy to fish.
Toilets old but Clean. The inclusion of bath mats is great at shower time.
The only down side was the birds, very noisy, all night.
Bring ear plugs.

We have stayed in this park on many occasions both in the cabins and in our caravan. Why do we keep coming back? Well the management and staff are awesome and a credit to the park. The park itself is well maintained and has everything a traveller needs and much more. Location is excellent and is our go to when we come to Gippsland to visit family.
The cabin we stayed in this time was spacious and well equipped. We travel with our border collies and being pet friendly is a huge plus for us.

We have camp hear 2 times, camp site… Really good experience, Adam does a gr8 job, kids kept busy sausage sizzle, face painting, bacon and eggs breakfast all free… Keep up the good work…

Great park. A bit noisy as it is on the main highway and a few exhaust brakes.

Very close to the centre of town. Easy to get around. The amenities are well cleaned multiple times a day.

Love the pizzas on a Friday. Music is good. All free and put on by the park.

Spent the week here at this park enjoying the central location to East Gippsland - and also the relaxed enjoyment of the park itself! Shady sites, great grassed area to throw the baseball or kick the footy, or a swim in the pool!
Adam, Sandy, and all the staff made our stay all that more enjoyable with their friendly and funny atttitudes, going out of their way to ensure our stay was one of the best.
We've booked again for next Xmas and can't wait to return)

Fabulous caravan park! Was clean, had friendly staff and the pool was great for the little ones. Loved they had a fire pit area to sit around at night if you wanted. Would have been better if there was a playground for the little ones. Really good for short stays though.

We spent one night at NRMA Bairnsdale and we were extremely impressed! From the amenities being clean and fully stocked +
(With towel mats for the showers which makes a big difference to the level of comfort at a camp site) to toys and outdoor games available for the kids. Staff are super friendly and helpful, always with a smile.
Each caravan site has a concrete block floor to keep things beat and clean, and extremely well shaded and protected by tall trees.
There's a small shop at reception too for ice creams, bait etc and shops and take away food very close by.
Although we didn't get to explore very much, the site is within walking distance from some bigger playgrounds, walking tracks and the river if you're looking for something more.

Overall, a comfortable and easy stay for our stopover. Highly recommend!

My family loved our time at this park. The sites had great shade and grass cover, the amenities were clean and well maintained and the close proximity to shops, the river and playgrounds was very convenient. The best part of the park were the staff! They were so welcoming and went above and beyond to offer activities and create a home-like atmosphere, especially when we stayed over Christmas.

We had the most wonderful time! Thank you so much to all the staff that went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The extra mile everyone goes is unbelievable, thank you for making this the most wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.
