Was quoted a wait of over 18 months with another clinic. They consider triage here. All the staff at this practice are highly professional. I have very sensitive skin, and on occasion reacted to some of the treatments. Emergency appointments were no trouble. I was able to access treatments that were right for me. Thank you to all. I am very grateful that I was able to be seen within a reasonable period. I am finally happy with the way my skin looks and feels.

Last year I was suffering from extreme acne that was on my face, neck and back. After trying lots of remedies online and spending lots of money on products, my acne was worse than ever.

Luckily, I met Dr Taklif who was able to help me with good products and medication which completely cleared ALL my acne within a year! I would also recommend the chemical peels as they got rid of any scarring I had. Very friendly staff and great service

I visited this clinic a few months ago and was extremely disappointed with the experience. I called prior to ask whether it was worth seeing a dermatologist for acne issues whilst pregnant, as I know a lot of treatments are unsafe during pregnancy. I was told by the receptionist that there would still be options I could look at for treatment. Once I got to the clinic, the dermatologist had not been made aware that I was pregnant and told me my options were limited. She then proceeded to Google particular skincare products I could use on the Chemist Warehouse website, prescribe me antibiotics (recommended only as a last resort in pregnancy) and the only other recommendation was doing chemical peels. I could have researched skincare and cosmetic treatments myself at home and not wasted $200 out of pocket on a consultation.

To Dr Taklif and her nursing staff I can’t thank you enough, the care, warmth and the treatment plan that I have received has been literally life changing!

I stumbled across you through my doctor as your were a new clinic and had appointments available in a shorter time than other clinics and I’m very grateful that I did I have recommended you to other family members and look forward to catching up soon.

Hello I have been trying to get the results on the biopsies conducted 2 weeks ago. I rang on Friday but a nurse did not ring me back. I have been ringing for 2 days now and cannot get an answer or a call back.

Doctor Taklif is one of the most caring doctors I have had the pleasure of having. Her staff is no different to make sure all is well. She has also treated other family members of mine for their skin concerns. She is not only a caring and professional doctor but also a great human being.

I was recently referred to Dr Taklif and I couldn't be happier with the service I received from both Dr Taklif and her wonderful nurse, Di. Dr Taklif was extremely thorough, made me feel at ease immediately, had clear communication of what was happening throughout the checks she was performing and the procedures she undertook. She has a wonderful bedside manner and I have no hesitation in recommending her. It is rare to find such a gem in this day and age who has the clients best interests at the forefront. The follow up calls, results etc provided by Di were also exceptional. Such a lovely nature and again, made you feel relaxed, calm and informed the whole time. What a team!

My GP referred me to one of dermatologist in this clinic and I called to book my appointment. Receptionist lady was so rude and disrespectful to me. She asked my history and told me straight away that the dermatologist won’t be able to treat you. I suffer from hormonal acne and I was on medication for ages but my GP stopped that medication. I was looking for a professional advice and i was happy to pay for it but the rude behaviour of receptionist offended me so much. There were things I didn’t wanted to tell over the phone to a receptionist but via face to face but receptionist made me so uncomfortable that I cancelled my appointment. So disappointing. I will tell my experience to my GP next time I visit him so he can refer me somewhere else

Dr. Tahir Taklif (formerly practicing at Geelong Dermatology &Barwon Health) is a caring practitioner who has been assisting me with my ongoing skin ailment.

I have no qualms about recommending this new venture which is modern and a state of the art clinic.
