This is a caulfield institution for a reason. The mock meat pizzas are definitely worth a try. The dough has a deliciously distinct flavour and the toppings are combined in a way you'll want to try them all.

This is an established business that has been around a long time. I used to get take away here 12 years ago and now living much closer, enjoy dining in once per month. So far have sampled about half the menu of approx 30 pizzas and never disappointed. Highly rfecommended, also for non-vegetarians who can enjoy meat free healthy food.

I don’t think anyone else does pizza like these guys, proper old school unpretentious vegetarian and vegan, hasn’t changed since the 90s apparently and it shows in the best way, this is a local institution.you must give it a try ️

Easily one of the best pizza places I’ve been to in my life. They stack toppings high, have an excellent menu and great customer service.

Nice employees, very helpfull as I ordered my simple ingredients. Then interrupted by not helpfull fellow in the background confusing the situation. No personality and sad attitude. When I requested some feta to be added after being cooked he denied my request saying they can't because of health and food regs or something. Pizza was good back home except overloaded with more herbs than one really needs.
Interesting to observe that the staff were placing the ingredients without gloves, notwithdstanding he in the background could not allow feta to be included.
I hope they wash their hands regularly if not using gloves.
Sad but true.

This place smells like the best pizza joint ever. But it just smells and looks good. I had the Nostralis special pizza which had tooooooo many bean shoots that the pizza didn't taste like pizza but bean shoots alone. It was sooo soggy that it was dripping water. It had no seasonings, no salt as well. They don't even have tomato sauce. I've never had such a bad pizza ever in my life. I have been a vegetarian all my life but hated this place.
I would give 0 stars but 1 star is only for the smell of the pizza. It's soo strong and attractive.
They also charged us an extra 2 dollars (1 dollar per person) because there was a board that said something like we're charging extra dollar per person who dines in for service or something. Every restaurant has dine in and take away option but they don't charge extra for service. Ridiculous reasons of paying people to wash dishes.
Hated the place. From being the most attractive pizza joint to being the most repelling in just one bite.
Would never recommend anyone to try and waste 20 dollars on a pizza so bad.

Nostralis is my go-to pizza place when it comes to vegan or plant-based-meat pizzas! Walk by Hawthorn Rd in the evening and you will be pulled in to this shop by its fresh baked pizza aromas!
Pizza is made with organic wholemeal flour and vegetable rennet cheese. Toppings are generous and tasty. Service is fast and on time, without compromising quality! Perfect for take-aways!

The Nostralis "Special" was listed as popular on Uber eats but the bean sprouts made the base really wet and you couldn't even pick it up. It was difficult to try to enjoy the pizza. We also got the pumpkin, which was a bit of everything. The olives and sesame seeds were odd additions. Love the idea of vegan pizza options but was disappointed with both pizzas.

I have been eating Nostralis pizzas since the 80's. The same delicious recipes.

One of the best pizzas we have had till now.
Even in Italy we didn't have such great prizes.
We loved the artichokes & mediterranean pizzas with additional goat cheese. Absolutely delicious.

My entire family have been eating here since 1991. It is the BEST pizza we’ve ever had. Nostralis is generational, timeless. They are a particular taste, so give them 3-4 tries before making your mind up. Nostralis cannot come more highly recommended. The Nostralis Special with Chilli, you’re welcome in advance

Vindaloo pizza blew my mind away. I have never tasted anything like this before. Unique combination of ingredients. Happy to have found a vegan/vegetarian pizza place. Keep it up guys.
