Came here with some friends. Had a few beers and some serious lols. Great pub. Great times. My mate Hotdogs ordered some hot chips. Bloody good stuff. Cheers.

Great place to see a gig, enjoy a beer, and catch up. Extra star (six s) for being diligent in making sure that everyone who enters has checked in!

Caught up with a few family friends on Sunday night When we arrived this place was fully booked in the front bar. The rain was pouring down 12°outside

But thanks to the team at this great establishment, they made sure were cosy and warm out in the back dining.

Another one of my and one of Melbourne's staples. Breaking it down, the Northcote is one of the main group of live music venues, comprising of standard front bar, various pub dining seating; with (under cover) beer deck and smoking section or the back. Separate band room with bar or back. The band room space is modest, so this is for a more 'intimate' gig. I could go on, but the Northcote does the standard stuff well.
Finally, getting to / from is dead-easy with PT transport options. The #86 will drop you off (& pick you up) from right outside the front door.
Love this place. Only regret: I discovered it so late. Great meeting place.

Bartender Doug is awesome, great laugh. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, cool rock n roll vibe but still suitable for 76 year old mother in law. Needs more indie beer choices. Team member in burgundy LA Raiders T-shirt looked after us so we’ll as did whole team in back bar. But pls get more non CUB beers on tap (end of rant). First visit, loved it xx

Good trivia with a nice mix of different topics and some interactive bits and pieces. Great food.

The atmosphere is lovely and the food + drinks were incredible. Thoroughly enjoyed the environment and the seats we had. Only thing is I wish there were more vegetarian options or even vegetarian replacements for things

Food was great and the venue is lovely. Lots of spaces inside and outside and sound quality for the band's is too notch. Would highly recommend.

An iconic Melbourne pub that continues to support the local music scene and showcase upcoming talent as well as old greats. Great atmosphere.

Lovely vibe and service year in year out. The bar staff in particular near the tree house were very good when we were there last too.

I came here for drinks after our dinner, and the place was absolutely buzzing. Fun, loud and eclectic atmosphere, and a menu with classic pub staples that made me wish I had space in my tummy for them, especially the desserts.

However, the only thing that I could fit in my tummy was alcohol so I had an Aperol Spritz. Couldn't fault this at all.

The staffs here were all super friendly and laidback, and the down to earth vibe made me feel like I'm having a drink at a friend's. Bottoms up mate!

Food is good here. Had the Parma a few times which is always consistent. Sometimes it can be hard to find a seat

Cool authentic pub. Sports on tv. Nice selection of draught and craft. Nice, chic outside area with smoking and non smoking areas. Enjoyed hanging in the "treehouse" area

Been here for a few gigs now and pretty slick place! Super intimate venue which is great, bar prices are great and staff always friendly! Easy to get to and parking available in streets around

Great food and service, but the newly constructed ‘Treehouse’ area traps cigarette smoke from the smoking area downstairs when the roof is closed, making it an unpleasant place to eat.

One of Captain Atom Man's favourites. Great bands, awesome trivia, and an amazing selection of beer. One simply cannot go wrong with this place.
