Have been to this place to play cricket couple of times. First time, the court was not available at the scheduled time and there was no one at the reception to talk to. We had to wait 15 mins before the guy at the reception showed up. Second time, it was the same thing and there was on one at the reception. 10 mins later the guy came to the reception and we managed to get the court. Sadly while the game was still on and there was still time left for our 2 hrs session, the guy came to us telling us off in an extremely rude way to leave the court as according to him our time was up which was not the case. Such a rude guy with extremely poor customer service. Appalled to experience this behaviour. Never going back to this place again.

Fantastic centre! Excellent indoor cricket competitions ran by friendly and helpful staff. Always a great time, week in week out. Highly recommended.

I've been playing indoor cricket here for a number of years now.and can't speak highly enough of Peter and the team that run the venue. Always friendly and always welcoming.

Runs a very friendly & well organised indoor cricket competition for adults (at all skill levels), but now also for u10’s through to u16’s. Staff are approachable.

We recently had my son’s 6th Birthday at Northcote Indoor Sport. I really did not want to leave a review like this, because when I called and made arrangements with Peter he was so lovely and accommodating and it all sounded and looked good online. We have a soft spot for indoor sports centres as we have played at our local for many years, but I recommend you go and see the place before you book here as sadly the expectations do not match reality. As I said I feel really awful as I understand the struggle small businesses have gone through with covid, but I wanted to make sure there is a balanced, reasonable review available online for other parents of young children. On a positive note the kids had a good time and a good run around. The staff were nice enough, but aside from the boys who ran the games that’s basically all you get. I was told by Peter that all would be organised and I wouldn’t have to do a thing but that disappointingly did not happen. I was clearing mess, cleaning spills, cutting cake and serving the kids drinks (tap water from huge heavy jugs that they couldn’t lift themselves) while the staff sat back and conversed - at one point I asked them to help and they scurried a little but didn’t do much for long. When I asked for some plates and spoons for the cake I was told “we have nothing to do with the cake, I don’t even know if I have anything”. Thankfully they did, but to hear that was so stressful, given I had kids and parents standing around waiting. For a sports venue hosting children’s birthdays, it was filthy. The bathrooms clearly weren’t cleaned prior as they smelt of urine. The soap bottles were filled up with water to make more soap. The place really is old and tired - not what you see in the pictures. I was assured there would be plenty of food and not to bring too much, but thank goodness I still brought lots of fruit and snacks as the only thing provided were Domino’s pizzas which didn’t arrive until right at the end. The coffee was really bad - surprising because the equipment looks ok so it wouldn’t be hard to make a decent coffee if the staff got training on how to use and maintain it properly.

Just had our great grandson birthday party here great venue service and staff are amazing boys had ball highly recommend thank you Peter and staff

Friendly environment. Top service. Caters for children's parties and various indoor sports like soccer, volleyball cricket. Gender inclusive. Great refs.

Brilliant centre and the friendliest staff. Had a makeover during COVID and the paint is fantastic. Great for social sports including indoor cricket, netball, soccer and beach volleyball. Also a fantastic venue for children’s birthday parties, very accomodating to what your child wants to play and how you’d like the party to run. Couldn’t recommend this centre enough!

Great service, friendly staff, clean change rooms and bathrooms. It also has a pretty good selection in the bar.

Took a whole group of my friends here to play balloon soccer. Friendly staff, affordable prices and a lot of great activities.

Adam was extremely rude to me on the phone when I called up on 13 May 2019 at approximately 8pm enquiring about joining a team. He said he had a team that started after 9.15 and when I replied that it was a little late as I had work and whether there may be another opening he replied that he was 'offering me a team take it or don't'. Avoid at all costs.

So much fun. The staff were super helpful and nice and the activities (bubble soccer and inflatables) were fantastic

Sand feels like its 10 years passed its use by date. Place could do with a coat of paint. Seems busy every night but where is the money going?

These guys are pretty chill. Competitions are a bit haphazard, and technically they're in Thornbury, but overall a good casual atmosphere

Good place to do some team sport/bonding. Friendly people. The place is a little old though. But nevertheless, great fun.
