35We love going here for easy hassle free tasty meals. Kids room is great keeps the rascal entertained. Beer on tap is cold and steak is perfect what more could you ask for.
Great little place. There's a decent bistro plus a "pub-grub" type menu in the Sports Bar, a TAB, two bars, pokies and a bottle shop. Very friendly staff and a warm atmosphere, too.
Good food, great prices, friendly staff. Not a fancy place, so if that matters to you, it's not your place, but it's wonderful food.
Surprisingly low cost for the amount of food.my partner and I had the pork roast.couldn't fault it
Good food, cheap prices, decor could do with an upgrade, but who cares when the food is yum. Plenty of seating.
Great pub food at great prices special menus on Monday to Friday they have a daily special two days I enjoy a delicious burger on Thursday only $13 and steak night $15 on Wednesday great family night out
Food was lovely and staff good!
However, I was surprised, how run down the hotel is.
Air conditioning, not working in dinning room, most unpleasant.
Well what a disappointment, My family of 5 had a evening meal on 18 October, we ordered 2 chicken schnitzel with veg the ham slice was on top with cheese put into grilled and place on the table curled up, the chicken was so dry we left it, the curry had no flavour so half got eaten, the lamb shoulder one bite and left it was tough and dry, and the third was eaten, but very poor.their was no mid strength in lounge, so I had to go and get in the gaming room, the staff said to do I have to go and get, well over please pay for a. CHEF that can cook good quality food.very disappointing.
Great place the food is awesome I don't usually eat in hotels, thanx for the tip off my friend on a good night out, will be going out more there for sure.
Good pub meal.
However ridiculously wouldn't let you use your card and you had to use their atm at a cost to get cash to pay. Hmmm
My son took us here I’ve always heard it was good and it didn’t disappoint. Terrific service and meals cooked especially the way I like them.
Friendly home style service. Generous, delicious & imaginative meals, 'Yum' with a great sports bar & pokies lounge.
You cant get a glass of red wine in the bar.how pathetic is that.used to be Good pub.now its just void of atmosphere
Great value meals with the all day menu and the theme nights (steak and parmi night). The 2 main chefs are excellent and know how to cook a good meal.
Now the big negatives, it's a pity the toilets haven't seen any maintenance for a good 20 odd years, not even a spray of WD40 on the toilet door hinges to stop them squeaking (this has now been fixed). Also could do with a good lick of paint outside as it's starting to look very rundown, which is in stark contrast to their partner venue in the Waurn Ponds hotel.
Just another pokie/Tab venue with a bistro.
The Bistro is ok priced and have decent feeds.
Lunchtime $10 specials are good value. 12-2pm
Some staff are great. But most can not be bothered, and seem under trained and content working in a hierarchy environment. Security guards change constantly.
$2.50 ATM surcharge. No pay wave at the bar, that's away from the pokies
The bar closes when It feels like, not when the website says. Even if they still have plenty people there drinking. Not allowed to sit at bar.
2 pool tables @$2p/g
