Nora Thai Restaurant reviews
192nd time here. Excellent service and delicious food as it was the first time! Will definitely be back!
Ordered takeaway, upon arrival at quoted time told to wait. Still no food after 40min wait in front of the place
It is understandable for service to be a bit slow when busy
However if you're not capable of keeping up with the demand and takeaway then it's best to consolidate your business
NO respect for customer's time
Small venue serving some southern thai food, so recommend to book before, but food was excellent (some of them were really spicy too but cant complain bcs its that good.
Love everything we ordered but my fav was the crab meat in coconut milk & the hat yai fried chicken & also the soft pork ribs.
I tried different dishes. The green curry was a bit spicy for my taste, but the Pad Thai and Tom Yum Gong were delicious.
The mango sticky rice dessert I ordered was absolutely delicious. The combination of sweet mangoes and sticky rice was simply delightful.
Delicious food but subpar service. Ordered online and was asked to wait outside till they called my name. Of course never got called, and when asked, turned out my food had been ready for 20 minutes and lukewarm.
We spent $82 for the two of us, we are full and happy as clams! The food was delicious, fragrant, beautifully balanced, and very well priced. Highly recommend! Make a booking, it’s as busy as it should be!
Everything was amazing, truly Thai, delicious. Highly recommend! Very reasonable price, portions of good size and high flavours.
What a cute little restaurant! So delicious and so many incredible things to try.
We ordered the Had Yai Fried Chicken which was beautifully crispy, flavorful and tender.
We also got the Pad Cha Seafood with coconut rice and the Pad see ew Beef. Everything was so fresh and flavorful.
I’m already thinking about I’m going to order when I come back! There are so many things I want to try next.
Great spot when you need a quick dinner out or want to try something new in the area,
Everything is delicious and has the original flavour, friendly staff, will definitely go back. I didn't make a reservation beforehand but was able to find a table for you to sit at. Will go back many more times.
I could not believe how good the red curry was! Probably the best Thai food I’ve had in Melbourne
What a gem! Delicious, excellent value food. Lovely service, and cute ambience. A new favourite!
Definitely recommed booking a table for this wonderful, tiny spot. The food was delicious and the service was great with lovely, friendly staff. The queue outside and the size of the place was a shock, but so glad we booked and had a terrific meal. Would highly recommend for a casual catchup for a small group of (2 - 4) people where you get to eat wonderful flavours that you probably don't cook for yourself.
Yummy and very authentic Thai cuisine. Food arrived promptly. Great little place to grab a quick bite to eat.
WOW! 4-4.5/5
If want to be taken back to Thailand cuisine, Nori is for you.
The crab curry was to die for! Traditionally served with kanom jeen, but hey, I'd have that crab curry everyday. We also had kana moo grob (pork) and several other dishes.
Overall, great food and as I alluded to, if you are tired of the replicating menus at many Thai restaurants (red, green, yellow curry.), this is for you.
We'll be back. There are so many other dishes to try. We didn't even touch the fish. Next time.
As I said to the front of house, that crab curry was stunning.
The restaurant is a short walk from South Yarra station.
What a gem! I just hope I lived closer so I could go more often.
The food here is so delectable, so many choices you hardly find anywhere else!
Looking forward to going back and try the curries.
They are so busy, but so ready to welcome everyone with a beautiful smile and so much hospitality.
Recommending it to everyone I know!
Beautiful food and lovely staff. A small casual dining restaurant, can't recommend it enough for flavour and value.
Feels like I’m back in Thailand! Best southern Thai food in Melbourne of all time!
Highly recommend
I have eaten the best fried rice in Melbourne. I ordered fried rice with crab meat. There are unexpectedly more crab meat in it. It looks like more than one crab. Its taste is sweet. The fried rice is clear, but there may be fewer vegetables.
I definitely recommend the southern Thai food style to everyone in Melbourne. As I’m Thai, I could say it’s precisely Thai flavour.
