We were part of a fairly large group there for Sunday lunch, and the staff coped very well.

Very cool place! Lovely and friendly team of staff, all working together to deliver their customers a nice time. Only thing I disliked was lining up in separate queues for food and drinks, is this could be fixed, would be a much more enjoyable experience without so much waiting in a queue.
The local wildlife was on display with many birds, kookaburra, king Parrots and cockies just a few! Outdoor area overlooking the river have a nice calmness about the place too. Takeaway booze options were limited but a great addition to a town with very limited retail options. The food was surprisingly really really good. The chicken salad was so fresh and well presented tenderloins tasting so good. The coating was delicious. The smokey bbq palma was a hit too, great flavour!

Stopped for a cold beer on a beautiful Anzac Day.
Will come again for a meal next visit.

Decent steak, could do with a few more beer choices, nice gardens out the back that go down to the river.

What an amazing find. Rarely do you stumble across a place in the middle of nowhere - kind of - that impresses so much. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We got a table on the deck - and what an amazing view. The food was amazing, the beer was ice cold. What more can you ask for.

The Parma Review - The Smokey Bandit:
Very decent in size with some really nice flavours working together. The bbq sauce, cheese, onion, bacon, salami and ham on top didn't overpower the chicken, which was cooked perfectly and was nice and moist - crunchy on the outside too. The chips were spot on and well seasoned, even though they were under the Parma which was forgiven due to its size. Side salad was a nice touch, well dressed, and flavoursome. Solid nine out of ten.

Great country pub. Staff is very friendly and the parmas are great! The lookout from the beer garden over the Latrobe River is fantastic too.

Great food, great atmosphere.
Back garden area and river is stunning. Lovely to sit out at the benches with a drink in the sun. Definitely worth a stop in if in the area.

Absolutely wonderful! Great service! Delicious food. Tranquil atmosphere, indoor and out door seating, easy to talk to honest friendly staff! Did Mention the food? ! Pretty incredible and decent sized meals.

Bathtooms for all ablilities, however there is a front step to enter. Although there is a gate /even level entry at the garden.
Kids get taken care of with space to run around and explore, kids meals that come with an iceypole!

Wow I so recommend this place to everyone, we came here on a Sunday and loved listening to the live music playing, we sat on the deck overlooking the river, surrounded by gum trees and waiting for our delicious meals.where I say "it is 100% worth the wait" as they can get busy, book a table and enjoy all there is to offer. I tried the whisky parma and I can't wait to come back and have it again, this place is beautiful and has the steam train and museum just a short distance up the road.

Popular Pub with good food, nice scenery, entertainment. Would be nice to have a few overhead fans. Was muggy with so many people there.

First time I've been here. I must say I was very impressed with the meals and had a great view also.

They were fully booked out but managed to find us a picnic table overlooking the river. The food was awesome as well. Worth the ride out there!

Gluten free traditional parma was great, moist and flavorful inside and crispy and saucy outside.
Staff and guests were friendly and service was fast.
