Noodle Box reviews
28Have been here a number of times and the food is a favourite among my work colleagues. The fried rice is fantastic.
I ordered the Chinese special fried rice and the Malaysian Kway Teow. Both meals were delicious, fresh, not oily and very generous serving sizes. The food always arrives nice and hot and always delivered on time. I will continue to order as a regular customer.:)
You don’t list Singapore noodles as containing spring onions, nor do you have an option to remove them (which you have for every other ingredient). Now I have a ruined dish with spring onions!
Ordered a pad thai and fried rice. Both were burnt, with no flavour, the noodles were extremely dark and the veggies were mush. Coming from Sydney I expected better. So disappointing: (
Terrific meal delivery from Port Melbourne!
We had the Japanese Chicken Teriyaki noodles, small size was very generous, lots of fresh vegetables, tasty chicken and sauce.
The vegan fried rice was also delicious, I have a seafood allergy and they took the notes seriously and the meals were great.
The spring rolls are my fave, they have so much flavour. We used to live near the Malvern store; it was always a 2/5 there yet Port Melbourne is so much better…!
Such great pricing and they know my order i can either call up and they know my voice or walk in and ask my usual and of course i say yes and off we go. Great quick service. Great cheap and healthiest fast food i can think off.
Had the vegan teriyaki and hot and spicey. Both had no flavour, tofu was small and chewy, and barely a vegetable in sight. Had one mouthful and couldn’t eat more. Was so thick and gluggy.
Over priced burnt food. I warn you to stay away from these money hungry people! Rubbish food, burnt!
The food is great but the staff are very rude and talk in foreign language whilst looking at me and my wife.
Love the noodles. They put the right amount of vegetables and it was a very hearty meal. Thank you for a delicious lunch.
This entire establishment is a disgrace. Ive ordered multiple times hoping id been unlucky in the past. But ive had enough. Everything ive ordered has been appauling. The food is genuinely terrible, and not cut out for human consumption. Get your act together.
We have been visiting and ordering some amazing food from James (noodle box) port Melbourne.
All meals have been fresh and delicious, they go out of there way to look after us.
This is our main restaurant and so happy its close by. Thank you also to the chef for making our wonderful meals.
Horrible. Really really bad. It was like a wet, rushed, tasteless mush. Ordered the Singapore noodles. First time I’ve ever had to throw out food in my life. Had 2 bites, and I was starving.
Mate what a brilliant idea. Noodlesinabox, we filled our car and after we filled at the servo this shop appeared. The Tucker was great and a perfect size to eat. Highly recommended by us.
Worst noodle place ever. Tasteless sauce, ordered a seafood mee goreng it claims in the menu multiple seafood items. There isn’t anything other than three tiny shrimp pieces. Overpriced Charged $15.95.when its not even worth $5.
Positives- it was fresh and fairly quick with polite service.
Negatives- the Singapore noodles do not taste like Singapore noodles and the sauce has a weird pasty texture. The Mongolian beef had a stong Thai basil flavour (which is not an ingredient in any Mongolian beef I've eaten before) and, again, tastes nothing like Mongolian beef. Also not a lot of beef in there.
Alas, it was a Monday and most of our favourite Asian restaurants in the area were closed and we thought we'd give it a go. We are very unlikely to return.
The make your own box is really good and the food tastes great. Noodle box is really good for take away and Uber eats but eating in isn't best. The restaurant lacks energy especially compared to the places around it.
Being a vegetarian it's bit difficult to find good restaurants nearby, but you can alter the menu here to make it vegetarian. Guys in the restaurant will confirm all the ingredients if you are fine with i.e eggs, oyster sauce, tofu etc. Good place if you are craving for some decent Chinese food
I ordered garlic prawns large size on ubereats my order arrives i eat it there was 3 garlic prawns the entire meal i call up the restaurant and ask how many prawns do you put inside of the meal he asked what size regular or large and i said tell me both he said small size is 5 prawns and large size is 8 prawns so i ordered large size garlic prawns and get given 3 and small size is 5 nice way to scam people cheap scammer also the spring rolls were tasteless bland with nothing in it other than lettuce and a sprinkle of who knows what kind of meat if you want to get ripped off and still feel hungry after spending 25 dollars go here
Best noodle box I have come across! Always tastes great and fresh. Have got a few people onto the combination:)
