Noisette Port Melbourne reviews
71My first visit since their renovation, more room with great coffee and amazing french bread and patisserie, visit early to beat the crowds.
Inviting store layout with good service. Smorgasbord of pastries combined with good coffee. A return visit is warranted!
Everything was top quality and delicious. And even though it was so busy, the staff was amazing.
Sorry, Portuguese tart pastry is totally wrong. Try the ones at Casa Nata instead, just like being in Portugal!
The best and most reasonably priced bakery in Melbourne. I’ve been enjoying Noisette for many years and also as a wholesale client, this company is an absolute delight to work with. I genuinely love this brand. No fluff, just pure excellence.
From my own opinion, this place is nothing special and not worth it to spend. Pastries was old, dry and taste horrible. Really not recommended.
Food and coffee is great! Think I put on a couple of kilos just looking at some of the pastries though!
I love this French Bakery; it has great pastries and coffee. However, I would give it 1 star because of the follow reason.
I have been coming to this bakery recently and I see their staffs being sick and yet the manager still allows sick people to come to work?
What about our food? They can easily spread the virus onto our food especially those breads are not covered AT ALL.
Today, I saw this blonde lady serving me while coughing bad. She was very sick, and it made me feel very uncomfortable about the pastries that she handed me.
I did not eat my pastries at the end because I don’t want to get sick…
Good coffee and service. When the place gets busy the attentiveness drops a bit but the food and coffee make up for it. Toasted sandwiches are very nice too. Also make sure you try the breads as well, I believe these guys bake on premises and also distribute to other cafes.
What we love the most from this place is the Tea Time. Lemon Cake and different times of Croissants.
We frequency them as much as possible and the quality And standards are still the same.
What's not is Coles St Kilda not selling their products no more: (
I always buy their wholemeal Sourdough bread from Preston market or Prahran, it is amazing and massive! Freezes well for weeks! I hope they open a bakery near Beveridge where I live
Mate, there was that one barista who always made a great coffee.
The food is a bit fancy for me (not really a bad thing) but the coffee is pretty A+ if you get that particular barista.
*This would be a 4 AND A HALF star review if I could.
Went in on a cold autumn day chasing the kind of sober high only known by those who know.that’s right I’m talking about the almond croissant at Noisette. I just think the size to taste to money ration is heavily in favour of the recipient/customer - which is value that is hard to find these days especially in this gentrified concrete jungle of Port Melb. The coffee was good too!
The coffee and the food was great but the lady behind the counter was very rude, she couldn't wait a minute to let us look for what we wanted even though we were the only ones there, she had a really bad energy and attitude, the owner was there as well and she was super nice.
Love their olive baguette which I buy through the Gleadall St Richmond Saturday market; real ‚durum style‘ but you need your own teeth; great bread.
After reading some reviews, I guess it's all relative. As a French man living here for years, I'd say it's a great place to get some pastry tasting like home and I would go back there anytime.
I've seen comments like "You get better at Coles". Sure, guess if you've been used to Coles mediocre level all your life, you must feel that way. To put it in perspective, Dan Murphy's has higher reviews for VB than for Duvel or Chimay beers. Probably the same people loving Maccas or KFC.
I'll take a fair assumption that the bad reviews are from a similar demographic: our palates are different:)
Their coffee and croissant in the morning is a nice pleasant indulgence on my way to work. Their bread is also good and remains fresh for days at home.
After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I realized they are short of staffs on a public holiday which they charge us 10 percent more than usual.
Staffs look exhausted and confused, I heard them complaining to each other
This place is amazing. Their patisserie / bakery items are just to die for. I see why it wins the best or Port Melbourne every year.well done
There are many coffee shops better than Noisette. It's really expensive and the pastries are nothing much. The one that you buy at Coles are much better (you can imagine the quality). If you never been here you didn't lose anything.
