Nobel Greek Tavern

We waited 50mins for an open souvlaki and a gyros salad. Lamb is precooked on the spit and a salad takes 10 mins to slap together. People came, ate and left whilst we sat there with an empty table waiting on our food. The waiters/waitresses didn’t even acknowledge that something went wrong here.
A favourite restaurant that we would regularly attend and recommend has now been added to the - ‘find another restaurant’.

Haven’t been to Noble for 3 years it’s improved out of sight. Best Greek food I’ve had ever! Service and hospitality was excellent

I’ve been going to this restaurant for a long time, the food and service is always ten out of ten. Best Greek food this side of town.

A group of us came here for dinner tonight and we were not disappointed. We ordered the banquet and the food was fresh and tasty and the portion sizes are huge! The waitstaff were wonderful and very friendly and the service was fantastic. If you are after an authentic Greek dining experience then I would definitely recommend you try it out! Thank you Nobel!

Just had some chicken from there. Wings. Bloody inside. I had the waitress tell me that it was fine but she’s not a chicken expert. It was pink and bloody. Very gross and unprofessional. (Wouldn’t feed the chicken to my worst enemy) she was sweet tho and gave us sweets.

What a fantastic greek restaurant. We had dinner here last night, ordered the express banquet and it was absolutely delicious. The food is so fresh, hot, and tasty, and you get HEAPS of it. All The staff are very friendly and helpful shout out to Maria, Sam, and Nonna for the amazing service. If you want the best Greek food in Melbourne, you can't go past Nobel Greek Tavern.

We had dinner at Noble Saturday night and let me say they have blown us away with the amazing service and absolutely delicious and homemade Food. The wait staff were amazing always walking past taking plates away or asking if we wanted drinks. They were friendly and nothing was ever too hard. The food tasted fresh, you could hear the crunch in the lettuce and the food was cooked to perfection! Lamb was amazing and the dessert also made in house was on point! This will be definitely a regular place for my family and friends to catch up!

Me and my family went in to Nobel on a Thursday night and enjoyed impeccable service alongside amazing food. Our glasses were always filled, plates were always taken and overall enjoyment levels were high. The atmosphere of the restaurant was something truly special and leaves us with the feeling that we will definitely be returning.

Nobel consistently serves beautiful and authentic food! I enjoy myself every time I dine with them.

We had such an amazing experience dining here for Mother’s Day. Maria was very helpful and accommodating over the phone as we had kids and my elderly nana to consider. The quality of the food on such a busy night was impressive and we could not be happier. They even gifted my nana a bottle of wine for her 100th birthday! We will be back again soon!

By far THE BEST souvlaki I've ever eaten in my life! We've been back plenty of times and am never disappointed. Well worth every cent. YUM!

I was awfully sick, throwing up through the night, after having dinner there on 4th March 2023. Might have been the pepper saganaki which looked awful and didn’t taste much better. It was a small bowl (meze not a main) full to the brim of oil with a couple of little bits of cheese and some tiny of bits of pepper hidden under the oil. Priced just under $30. Terrible on every level.

Great authentic Greek food. Family run restaurant food was fresh, tasty and oh so good.
Staff was friendly and efficient.
Definitely will be back and I would recommend it to anyone.

Not your run of the mill fast food restaurant, very much a 4-5 star dining experience. Food was delicious & staff very attentive. Definitely worth it.

Went out for dinner today paid $280 for 1 adult & 4 children not worth it in my opinion.
Our first time here & it will be our last we left disappointed. All staff new & didn't seem to care.
My older teenagers love Meat this was 1st time ever they left full tray of meat not touched as it was dry & over cooked. They left plate of sausage too as that had no taste. The capsicum in our opinion taste like they are out of a jar very plain slithers with no taste.
We told staff they didn't seem to care.
We explained to the waiter when ordering it was our 1st time dining he was the one who suggested we get the banquet 70per person so we get bit of everything so we did.
Although We asked about ordering Saganaki to add to the banquet when it arrived we got 3 apparently it is included in the banquet already so I just paid. Extra $15 for a dish that's already included in my meal.

Disappointed by this place. As a lover of Greek food I found this restaurant to be overrated and overpriced. The $6 surcharge for paying by debit card was the icing on the cake. Won’t be back.

Been eating here for 10+ years and can not fault them. I am a coeliac and they understand my condition and go through each dish with me, ensuring I know what I can and can’t eat - banquet. Such friendly staff and yummy food.

Fabulous authentic Greek style food, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff! Definitely will be going back and very happy to support local.
