No.7 Healesville

Really nice food, tapas style. Really liked the tasting of three wines to pair with the main meal. Decor was also lovely.
Service though was a bit stressful. The female staff member was very friendly and helpful, and we wished we were served by her the entire time as we heard her explain things to other guests and she was so accommodating.
We didn't order the set menu, though we spent the same regardless, as some didn't drink/want dessert. Our male waiter seemed a bit put out by this and then unhappy that we didn't order the number of share entrees etc he suggested. We just wanted a tasting and not to fill up before the main.
We then received strange/sarcastic comments about us possibly sharing the two desserts ordered between the whole table etc. I thought I misread things but the whole table felt the same, like we had offended him personally by ordering what we wanted.
On the whole it was nice but, for a 'special birthday lunch', we left feeling a little underwhelmed and found somewhere else to enjoy the rest of the day.

I highly recommended Number 7 - Healesville.
The reservation was easy to make, the ambience was cozy and great.
The food definitely lived up my expectations! I tried the setup of the day' Menu as per staff recommendations, and if you visit the restaurant, you should too.

An amazing dining experience. Highly recommend leaving it up to the chef and going with the set menu and wine pairing. We visited on a Tuesday and I must say… it was a great meal. Listed on my personal top 3. Great venue

We opted for the chef's menu at No. 7 for lunch, paired with some very well picked out wines by the staff. The food was amazing. Highlights being the Wagyu picanha on romesco and the ceviche. The chop salad also was fresh out of the garden. The restaurant itself is great and very friendly service.

We attended No. 7 on Sunday afternoon for lunch to celebrate the 18th year from our first date anniversary. We had the 5 course set menu which was a delight. Our waiter paired our meal perfectly with a French Organic almost orange Rosé which was outstanding! We were greeted very well and made feel very comfortable from the beginning. The ambience was great and we had a phenomenal time. We can’t recommend No. 7 enough and look forward to coming back again soon.

I recently enjoyed a lovely lunch at No. 7 Healesville. As we weren’t very hungry we opted for a number of share plates rather than the feed me option. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The highlights for me were the beef tartare with root veg crisps and Hapuka with Brussel sprouts. In addition to the great food I enjoyed the atmosphere and beautiful setting of the restaurant.

Brilliant place for a nice meal out. We went during the quiet period, lunch time on a Friday, but bookings would be essential for any evenings/weekends.

They have set up a lovely vibe there with beautiful decor and you might be greeted out front by their friendly staff cooking that evening's meat on the grill.

We had the 'feed me' and everything was genuinely delicious. Very high quality, seasonal ingredients cooked with care to perfection.

Keen to go back again.

Delicious food and a fabulous space. Very interesting wine list. All natural wines so ask their advice to find what’s to your taste. Loved it.

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Excellent food, cosy atmosphere and attentive professional service. Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing place, possibly the best Mexican I’ve ever had in Australia. Coupled with friendly staff and excellent service, we will definitely be back ️

A superb winery atmosphere with beautiful wooden tables, antique chairs and lots of interesting decor. Multiple rooms indoors with lots of outdoor seating too.
Food came in small serves but was delicious. Drinks were expensive.
Service was very professional.somewhat frosty at the start but warmed up at the end.

Overall experience is very good, staffs are friendly and the atomesphre of the restaurant is very cozy. A little bit pricey but you come to the right place for excellent contemporary Mexican food but sadly not for the dessert. The starters of our meal was the intrigued introduction, followed by the main dishes which is the climax of the story. Your mouth will be filled with exotic flavours. However, the dessert didn't achieve the high expectations that we had after mains. So it was a let-down. Highly recommend and will go again soon if there is a special occasion.

The venue is beautiful, the staff are welcoming friendly and knowledgeable, the wines are delicious and the FOOD the taste is amazing and the textures are outstanding, so well thought out and prepared each dish was a standout! Thank you so much for a fantastic dinner.

The dinning experience was amazing. The food was so unexpected, but perfect. Our waitress was so switched and able to pair our wine and meals as the dinner evolved and we said what we enjoyed. I have not had such engaged staff in a very long time. Went back the next day to purchase some of the wines from the cellar door. So highly recommended

Lovely meal and a great atmosphere. We had the smaller tasting menu which was just enough after a day long walks. Great flavours and we ordered 2 different options for each course to try the full menu. I had to put prior experiences with only organic wines on the menu aside and was pleasantly surprised by the quality they had by the glass.
