Nice Guys Brewery and Bar

We had our engagement party at nice guys! Such a fantastic venue, you can order in your own food so had a bunch of pizzas bought in. The beers and cocktails are amazing. Grant the owner goes out of his way to ensure you have a great event and have everything you need. His staff are all amazing and lovely to deal with. Highly recommend having your event with them! Nice Guys is a funky but relaxed brewery and bar. The laid back retro '70s interior provides the perfect location for a beer from the on-site brewery or a signature cocktail. Highly recommended whether or not you are a beer lover. Love the jazz on Thursday nights.

Incredible fit-out, the place looks and feels like you’re in Palm Springs. Great beer selection, both in-house and guest taps.

Nice Guys Brewery is a relatively new addition to Victoria Street but they're already leaving an impression. From the outside, the venue is very inviting. There's a large open fire flute featured at the entrance and many comfortable spots to lounge around inside. They have a good selection of in-house beers as well as plenty of local favourites.

Love the non alcoholic cocktails here, would be nice if they served food but good place nonetheless

What a great find! We checked out this place for their Thursday night Jazz night. It was great to see some live music and this cool bar with a retro vibe was the perfect setting. We'll definitely be coming back!

A cool little bar with great atmosphere and nice beer. They are having live jazz music on Thursdays at the moment, which is very enjoyable.

Very good venue. Had a bucks here, great atmosphere. Not too strict on the bucks. Not that we were out of hand or anything. Would drink there beer and cocktails again.

Went here in what seemed like the first few weeks of opening. May be a bit too soon to tell but this has the making of great place to drink. Need to get busier, more selection of beers on tap and figure out what they are doing with food but will be back to see how this place shapes up.

A querky brewery with a great selection of beers. Make sure you get the tasting selection and check out the detailed tasting notes (the notes are poorly advertised but definitely worth asking for!) And if you have questions, make sure to have a chat with the brewer, true to the name, he'll help you out!

Perfect spot for catching with friends. Great range beers on tap and impressive service. Definitely returning again.

We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience tonight at Nice Guys Brewery and Bar. Despite being happy to serve us whatever we wanted initially, they could not be happier to get rid of all paying customers from the venue. None of us felt welcome. It was a disgrace.

UPDATE: Thanks for the reply. Providing early notice is indeed a great policy but something must have broken down with it on Saturday night. The group next to us were also incredulous that they were being moved on just as you'd served them a fresh round of cocktails. If you're going to serve drinks near closing time I'd recommend allowing patrons enough time to actually consume them - otherwise it does leave people with the impression that you were just happy to take the money.

The real icing on the cake though was the fact that the person working made shooing gestures, following the groups out as they were leaving.

You can taste the passion in every one of Nice Guys' different beers - all of them are straight-shooting, flavourful brews without the pretenses that plague most other craft breweries.

Plus, the venue is fitted out with a fantastic '70s-themed decor and killer playlists. Potentially the most reliable place for a drink in Richmond

They don’t have a large selection of beers, but I was impressed with each one. The flavours were great.
The last time I went the reassurance wasn’t set up, so you could pick up something to eat from another restaurant and get it there (which is easy as there are a few take away places near by).

Super chill place, great ambiance. Owner is a really welcoming and friendly person, great selection of beers.
