Quality meat, always lovely and cooks beautifully. Mathew and his staff are always friendly and helpful. The Christmas ham was wonderful as usual.

Fantastic butcher! We get steaks and sausages from Matthew and his team for special occasions as it’s a bit out of our price range but well worth it. We got a ham on the bone and turkey with their in house brining option for Christmas and it was so tasty and moist, everyone said it was the best Christmas ham and turkey they ever had. Highly recommend. Keep up the good work!

A good variety of gourmet meats (beef, lamb, pork, chicken). They also have some baked goods on stock as well as wines & grocery items.

Without a doubt, one of the best butchers around. Great products, great service that can't be beat.

I cannot begin to describe how good the chicken snitzels are at this butcher. Not only are they generously sized, but fresh, tasty and unbelievably delicious. I cannot speak for their beef and pork (apart from their exquisite range of sausage’s which I highly recommend you try as well) but they are passionate about meat. Forgot something for dinner? No worries! Wine, bread, olives and all the trimmings are also part of their highly considered offering. Not to mention their selection of high marble score beef. Do your self a factor and visit.

Best piece of scotch fillet I’ve ever had! The meat was of absolutely premium quality and felt like having a 5 star dinner at home! Really nice store as well and met the owner Mathew who was super friendly guy and gave us great tips on how to cook the meat. Won’t be buying meat anywhere else than from Mathew now

Matthew showed us great lengths of knowledge in terms of different cuts, his dry age and everything. Most genuine local butcher (Hidden gem of flemington) and filled with wisdom.

This butcher is such a vibe! We’re a little spoilt in Melbourne for purveyors of premium meat, but this is definitely a standout and waaaay up the top. Aside from what’s already been described in previous reviews about the exceptional quality offerings, it’s obvious the amount of heart and soul that has gone into this establishment - which is extended to the customer service aspect - making the whole exchange a pleasure!
Do yourself a favour and ask for the bacon (not on display). Hands down best I’ve ever had

The quality of food is simply amazing. This is the best butcher I’ve ever encountered. From the olives, to the sausages, to the steaks, the sausage rolls and the chicken fillets - all impeccable quality; and amazing service.

Went today randomly inside, bought sausages and chicken free range, honestly beautiful products, very nice guy who served us, we will be back soon, kids love the nutmeg sausages, well done and thank you for your hard work.

Mathew has amazing quality meat and cuts that you wouldn't usually find at any butcher (Japanese A5 wagyu and more.).
The extras (cheese, pâté, wine, etc) compliment his produce perfectly.
Great service and always has something different to try.

Friendly guys and great local access to high-end meat products. Just make sure to ask about product prices if they're not marked because you can be a bit caught out once it's rung up.

Excellent butcher. Can highly recommend their boerewors (South African farmer sausage) - authentic recipe, free range beef/pork & gluten free. Mathew and his staff are very knowledgeable and obliging. Terrific range of quality items.
