Hands down best fish and chips I've ever had! For the last 6 months since discovering them I haven't been able to eat from other f&c shops as they just don't compare food or service! Literally writting this review while waiting for my latest order. Best little hidden treasure!

The service wasn’t great and the chips were tasteless. You don’t get nearly enough chips for four dollars. Would not recommend at all

The chips honestly tasted like paper and you get about 20 chips for 5 dollars. Do not come here.

I got four bucks chips with a mate and we only got about 15 fries. The service wasn’t great and they took 15 minutes plus.

I bought 4 bucks fries here and when he gave me the chips there was about 12 fries in there. My mate bought chewy for me and him and it cost him nine dollars. He is a bloody scammer

The chips were severely undercooked and lightly salted. The prices are sky high with a bag of chips being $4: 50 and four dollars chips being about fifteen chips in total

I definitely enjoyed Newark Ave. Home made potato cakes. The service was great and staffs are all friendly and very accommodating. The food was prepared in good time. The best home made potato cake I've ever had. Thank you!

WOW first time I've had chips, a potato cake and dim sim from this shop and WOW best I've had since I moved here 8yrs ago. Wish I'd found you sooner. All I can say is WOW will be back

Got fish (thick so good) & chips and spud cakes here today best ones in town will be going here from now on yum also get little bits spud cakes in with chips surprise go here will not go anywhere else keep up good work food so good

First time customer today and had the best Hamburger with the lot I have had for a very long time.not complaining but too cheap! I think this may be a regular lunchtime event!
