They appear to care more about money than your mental health. What a shame this is even called a mental health practice.

Not very happy with what was said over the phone and what was ultimately offered.
1. Paid for the consultation in advance and had to wait for over 2 weeks before NVP submitted the claim to Medicare, and this was only after I had spoken to NVP on 2 occasions, a) on the date of the consultation, when I was assured the claim would be submitted to Medicare with the next fortnight and a fortnight later when I had to raise my voice with the NVP staff member to immediately lodge my claim.
2. I was not advised by NVP that the "Senior Consultant" that they recommended was also employed by Centrelink and there would be a "conflict of interest".
3. On the day of the consultation it took the "Senior Consultant" over a quarter of an hour to inform me about the "conflict of interest".
4. This only happened after I had opened up and revealed personal information about myself.
5. Under these circumstances I will not be attending NVP again, since their whole "service" is money-oriented and not client-oriented.

We waited 4 weeks for my son’s first appointment and it was cancelled because we didn’t pay by a specific time, 2 days prior to appointment. There was a misunderstanding and I believed I could pay when I returned home from work. I left a couple of messages for the Manager and was not returned a courtesy call.

Our current psychologist bills us at the end of each session. Priority is my son’s mental health unlike NVP.

Absolutely horrible. I had an appointment booked already to go, only to end up sitting there for 45 minutes waiting for the psychologist to call. They never called. I had to call the mainline and ask what happened. They weren't able to give me a straight answer, only suggesting that someone had "cancelled" the appointment on my behalf. I had waited for this appointment for months and I had already pre-paid. Disgusting. Now I am waiting for a refund. Very disappointed with this service. I will now be looking elsewhere for a psychologist.

Receptionists are friendly and accommodating. Dr Granger is very knowledgeable along with being supportive, compassionate and empathetic. I felt heard and acknowledged, not dismissed or ignored. Looking forward to wellness

I have been attending counseling with NVP for nearly 10 years now. My psychologist Melissa Bah is fantastic and have been there for me through my most difficult times. I fully recommend this practice to anyone out there who suffers mental health illness. Sometimes it is healthy to just vent it all out.

I had appointment with dr jenny she was very helpful and explained everything. Getting the appointment was easy as well

Bridgette is one of the best counseling specialists I have ever came across to. Highly recommend her.
