NHI were amazing, every step of the way through my build. From Susan and the Admin team being able to book the inspections in a precise and timely manner, to their excellent follow-up, the office team were superb.
The inspectors (in particular Peter) were absolutely fantastic. Their reports were detailed and easy-to-read while also identifying important issues. They also provided very clear and concise explanations as to what was required to rectify these issues. Furthermore, all inspectors were very happy to take a phone call as required and explain things further, which really helped provide peace of mind all the way throughout the process.
The pricing was fair for the services offered, though the company also offers a nice loyalty discount if invoices are paid in a timely manner and multiple inspections are booked with them.
I would definitely recommend NHI for construction inspections.

I engaged NHI for all 5 stages of inspections and it was well worth money spending. They were very easy to deal with, staffs were very nice and booking an appointment, change or cancellation, no issues at all. After every inspection, I received my report over night and afterward they followed up to ensure that errors have been actioned upon. I could approach the inspectors directly to understand issues identified in detail, which was very handy as I didn't understand the technicality. I highly recommend NHI for your new built as it gives you a peace of mind during the build project.

Honestly, this company is pathetic. After having their useless inspector come through and find mundane obvious things during his ‘inspection’ I contacted him pointing out more critical issues he failed to pick up. Instead of apologising and coming out to do his inspection properly and including the issues in his report he just stop responding, even after admitting they should have been picked up. Admin then emailed asking if we needed their services still and after explaining the pathetic job their inspector did and his responses they never even bothered to respond. I’m in the construction industry which helped a lot during my build but these guys are 100% a waste of money. Don’t even bother, they would satisfy those who have no knowledge of the construction industry with the couple of things they pick up, most likely during every report, but they don’t actually find issues that should be found. NEVER use this company if you want to have someone actually inspect your property thoroughly

New Home Inspections were thorough, clear communicators and made the overall process very simple. The report we received was detailed, specified the code infractions with clear images and this made it difficult for the builder to try progress to handover without rectifying these issues first. Absolutely worth the money spent to have peace of mind.

New Home Inspections did a wonderful job inspecting each stage of our new build. The reports are thorough and easy to understand with diagrams and pictures. They identified major defects at each stage of our build which were rectified along the way, which if they weren't would've caused major issues, stress and financial implications down the track. I recently completed the build of a new home in Melbourne. I used New Home Inspections at every stage of the build. I highly recommend NHI for anyone looking for a building inspection company. I did a lot of research into who to use and was really happy that I ultimately engaged NHI.

Their customer service team were great, bookings were easy to make, they were always incredibly responsive and also happy to reschedule inspections, even at the last minute when delays came up in the build process. This took a lot of stress away from me with how flexible they were able to be.

Their inspectors were also great, we had Damien throughout all but one of the stages. He was thorough but also fair and didn't highlight unreasonable items. This made the builder happy to have them on site and it made it better for all parties as we were all working towards delivering the best quality house in the end.

I would encourage anyone building to engage with NHI throughout the course of their build. The problems found during the inspections are often easily fixed during the build process as compared to waiting until the end to find and then try to rectify.

We purchased an off the plan property and were interstate so unable to perform the pre-settlement inspection. After reading review online we decided to look at company's to do the inspection for us. After reading reviews online and seeing sample reports we decided to go with new home inspections and are so so glad that we did.
From the start the customer service was amazing and they were very accommodating to the inspection times that the developer gave us.
We were blown away with how detailed and thorough the report was and there was no way we would have ever picked up on half the stuff that Damien did.right down to the mm and quoting the building code that the builder has to adhere to.
For anyone buying a new property or building a new one I recommend new home inspections.
