I would like to begin this review by thanking my personal conveyancer- Casey.
Casey has provided myself with a service unlike any other. She has responded to emails in a timely and appropriate fashion, providing most adequate of explanations with regards to questions asked. Casey's expertise and professionalism were evident throughout the settlement process. I thoroughly believe the ease with which our property settled was due to Casey's competent work.
My recommendation can not adequately be described by only 5 stars, hence the glowing review.

Made themselves available whenever I called and gave me helpful advice when I really needed it.

I recently used Casey Marin for our conveyancing requirements in purchasing and selling a property. Her professionalism, guidance and knowledge in ensuring a smooth transaction was invaluable. We can't thank Casey and Nevetts Lawyers enough.

Nevetts advised us over a renewable energy proposal. We found their advice to be clear and understandable and we felt accurately informed about the decision being made and the risks involved. Valuably, they demonstrated plenty of prior experience with these proposals so they were able to walk us through the process beforehand.

I would not recommend the conveyancing service to anyone.
After being referred to Nevett's by a local real estate agent I was purchasing an investment property from in late 2019, I was initially looked after by a very helpful staff member. Sadly, a month before settlement, this staff member left and my file was hand balled to someone else who was not as competent. In addition to this, once settlement came around, suddenly the fees I was quoted for this work skyrocketed! So as not to delay settlement, I paid the requested fees in full. Then, a day after settlement went through, I receive a bill for over $600 for fees Nevett's claim were passed on by the lender's solicitor. So I requested proof of these additional charges, but none was provided. Therefore, I refused to pay them, given that settlement had gone through and there was no justification provided for additional fees. However, after months of "reminders" being sent to me for this outstanding invoice, I was served with papers to appear in the magistrates court for unpaid fees! I could not believe it! These solicitors are the worst I have ever come across in my life and I have bought and sold many properties over the past 25 years. Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of these incompetent sharks!

Highly recommend Nevetts. Have recently used their conveyancy services as well as preparation of wills and POAs. Very good to deal with and have subsequently referred family and friends who have also been very happy with their service.

As a first home buyer in and out of lockdown and in a completely unsure time for all Vic and people involved with my purchase, I was able to rely on the work Casey Marin, as my conveyancer did. She answered my many phone calls and was understanding of the stress I was feeling. Not once did I feel like a pest. All my emails were answered in a timely fashion, especially with the amount of issues that I had with my bank, she was able to put me at ease and even get it all settled and bring the settlement date forward. I would recommend Nevetts to anyone in need of legal advice or services. 10/10

Poor quality of service, I'll mannered and no one really new what was going I had a total of four lawyers as representation. Extremely expensive for the amount of work done, rude and threatening in there behaviour towards client, very slow to respond to any form of communication. I would go out of my way not to recommend there services there are plenty other law firms to pick from, I definitely hired the wrong firm.andand

Had an awful experience when asking for the will of my late father. Rather than showing any kind of empathy, the guy I spoke to was extremely aggressive and intimidating. I’m still shaken from the experience.

After going in to collect my grandmother's will, the receptionist went to ask the appropriate person to help with it and left the guys office shaken and crying. Handed a card to us and said please call as there is protocol. Continued to cry and apologize until we left. I don't know what he said to her but this is very unprofessional.

We have used Nevett Ford now on multiple occassions for both commericial and residential sales/purchases. We have nothing but praise for the way the staff and management conduct themselves. They always return calls, answer questions, management oversee complex transactions, they return emails and are fantastic to deal with. On more than one occassion due to circumstances outside of our control things were not going to plan (due to other parties involved not represented by professionals like Nevett Ford) however Nevett Ford made sure that every possible thing was done to ensure the best possible outcome and kept us up to date and informed through out the whole process. With anything we didnt understand due to legal speak etc - they explained it to us in terms we could understand as well as answered all our questions. Whilst we were talking to an interested party about how great Nevett Ford have been, I think they were kicking themsevles for using someone else as they had nothing but headaches and calls not returned etc which left them frustrated and no doubt they will be using Nevett Ford in the future. Can not rate them highly enough - 5/5 stars!

After purchasing a house and needing a conveyancer, I would highly recommend Casey Marin for all conveyancing needs. Not only did she make a difficult situation easy, she did all the leg work and took all the stress of me. All I had to do was sign some paperwork and move on in. 10/10

I enlisted their conveyancing services, as had previously used them and had been very happy. Unfortunately the conveyancer, I had previously used, had retired. This time I required their services for selling my current property and buying another. The conveyancer and her legal assistant were rude, condescending and didn't seem to have the experience to deal with the task. I had to withdraw their services, at full cost, and go to another conveyancer. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone. NO STARS!

Nevett Ford firm is professional yet down to earth, I believe their firm is easily the best in Ballarat. I saw this first hand as Kent Mallinson from Nevvet Ford did all the heavy lifting for us breaking down complicated contracts and providing professional advice making it easy for us to make informed and calculated decisions. We had quite a bit of work to do in setting up our financial affairs. We were very fortunate to work with Kent Mallinson who laid out our options in writing, and the pro's and cons of each one.

At all times he was very proactive in making sure our interests and security were protected. Various 'what if' scenarios were considered to make sure we fully understood all outcomes in what we were doing.
