Customer service at this place has gone from decent to pathetic, most of the staff give judgy looks, roll their eyes, makes long faces let alone have any slightest smile on their face, even when a customer says ‘thank you’ their response is cold silence, when you ask question about their product they answer mostly rudely or with lethargy as if they are obliging the customer… and so many more terrible experiences I can share… whatever has happened to the standard of customer service these days… really disappointed and feel disgusted by how I was treated… some staff are delightful and go above and beyond and such experience is not fair on them and the extra mile they go to earn the same money as those no good staff members… expect far great service quality from nespresso and they must have better training, supervision and standards of customer service….

Perfect service every time I visit for my refills. I usually stay to try a new coffee and the staff are always accommodating.

Not a pleasant experience because I wanted to be served, staff member walked away leaving us at the checkout without a good bye or thank you for your purchase.

I walked in wanting to buy a gift. The store was not crowded and staff were talking amongst each other - I sought help from one of the girls working there after looking quite helpless for a while as I did not know what gift products they had (I cannot remember her name, but she was short and Asian). Off the bat she seemed disinterested in helping me - gave me very basic information and ideas and just seemed like she was superior to me, and whilst another staff was kindly giving me a sample to taste, she walked away as if she was done helping me when I had barely got the opportunity to pick what I wanted. Thankfully, there was a lovely guy (tall and white) who was quick to help me when he realised I was looking a little lost and I was able to find a gift right away.

I want to give the sales assistant who helped me in the end 5 stars because he was so lovely. But, I am so disappointed and disgusted by the service from the first girl I sought help from. She was rude and unhelpful and I hope that no other customer has to deal with such service especially during the Christmas period. If she does not want to be helpful and do her job in customer service then, frankly, she should get a job elsewhere.

I have also noted that from previous reviews that staff members from this store racially profile customers - which was exactly my experience here as a person of colour. I noticed that white people that walked in after I had, got immediate attention from sales assistants, as well as the girl who was extremely rude.

As a person of colour, it’s astonishing that I was racially profiled by a fellow person of colour! Abhorrent service from that Asian girl. Management should think twice when hiring people, clearly they are not doing a great job if they are hiring people who are discriminating customers based on their skin colour.

Best service from the lovely Kayla in Chadstone store. Highly recommend you come to this store and be served by Kayla. Nothing was too much trouble. Helped me with repair/replacement order and purchase of more goodies.

I've also visited the Chadstone Vic store where there were 4 staff in attendance and wasn't greeted by anyone, after standing there for at least 5 minutes an Caucasian lady entered and was promptly serviced by a staff member. I can't say if staff are racially profiling customers but is strange to service a white lady and ignore a Asian male customer in same store who is looking to repurchase. This is the only store it seems to go out of their way to ignore you, have had much better experience at City and Doncaster store. Adding to insult what looked like a manager or supervisor walked of office/room straight past me to make a phone call outside the shop. What ever the lady was checking on the POS machine must have been extremely, should have spoken up but instead left after 5 mins standing there without my coffee pods: (

PS reading through the reviews - Its hard to please all customers, but there are alot of similar customer experiences at store, if feedback has been given it has not been taken seriously.

I visit the Chadstone store at least every month to purchase my coffee capsules.
This will be the last time I go into store, this team needs a serious review. Agreeing with other reviews, they racially profile customers and will only greet the caucasian customers. I had bought capsules that came with gifts, and when the lady brought it over she dumped it on top of the self serve machines and walked away. My bag was overflowing with coffee already and did not even offer me another bag. I also spent another 5 minutes trying to get the 3 staff standing at the door’s attention as the self serve machines were having issues. If your Asian, I would seriously reconsider stepping foot into this store. Customer service is appalling and team needs a reality check.

Louise, Darren and the team at Nespresso Chadstone were so helpful when I had a faulty machine. They went above and beyond to help me with my issue and organise a replacement on the spot.
10/10 customer service.

The first time I went there the store was empty and there was a female white pregnant staff member in the store. She was quite unwelcoming and passively rude, which made me leave the store less than 5 mins after entering.

I revisted the store a few days again, which was a few months after my first abhorrent experience. This time I was escorted by a female asian staff member who walked me through the coffee machines. I was between the Atelier and Virtuoso as I was informed that I could get either on their current one dollar machine plans, when she claimed that Virtuoso had a smart feature by which you can start a cup of coffee using your phone after setting everything up. So I bought a virtuoso and took it home only to find out the Nespresso App does not provide this feature to the Virtuoso machine.

I felt shocked and swindled by this, and had to take time off work again to return the product to the store, as the feature I was sold by was not included in the product, and I explained this situation to the manager there. I wanted to get the Atelier instead but I was informed that I would have to pay 200 dollars extra for the Atelier and there would be no compensation for my troubles apart from a few sleeves of coffee. I returned the machine and left the store.

Overall the I found the staff to be either of poor knowledge regarding their machines or simply dishonest in their sales practice, and unwelcoming towards me in both my interactions with them. I was initially recommended this store by my white colleague, and both my encounters being this miserable makes me wonder if this hostility has a racial undertone.

I will never come back to this store or recommend this store to anyone. This store has given me the most unprofessional and hostile experience I have ever had in Chadstone or even Melbourne.

Never bothered to write a review before but this I have to express. I went into the store, wasn't greeted by anyone or served since there was no staff so I left. Lacking customer service that I thought Nespresso was known for.

Shoutout to the guy with glasses serving the coffee tasting station on 3 April 22 Sunday at 3.25pm.

He was so professional despite dealing with a very rude female customer and her male partner.

Nespresso is always busy on a weekend so be prepared to wait your turn if you have many questions and would like a coffee tasting.

Had a lovely first experience with a wonderful Nesspresso team member who made the overwhelming experience a little less so. Really knowledgeable and wonderfully helpful with the set up process. I'm looking forward to returning there

Staff are just not trained. For some reason no one really seems to know what's going on. I came to collect some pods and asked if my subscription was up, the assistant told me that it is. I then proceeded to ask him to stop charging me a monthly fee. I found out that nespresso charged me $389 cancellation fee even though my subscription is up.this was not part of the contract. It just seems every time I deal with nespresso it has been a difficult experience. Very disappointing service.

Went into the posh Chadstone store 1/2/22 to try tasting some different coffees as I would like a change from the ones we normally get. Was told by the girl serving there it’s closed due to covid and keeping me safe? Really I said but the shop is open and so are the coffee shops! I would like to taste something new. She then tells me ‘ well you cannot taste the bread you buy at the supermarket’! I was shocked! Nespresso brands itself as a high end product that comes with an purchase experience and yet their staff think it’s no better than a supermarket experience! Close your stores Nespresso and put your product in woollies if this is your customer service!
