7 I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the fish and chips I ordered at your restaurant today. Unfortunately, the quality of the dish fell far below my expectations.
Specifically, the fish was overcooked and lacked the tenderness and flakiness that are expected from a well-prepared fish and chips dish. The batter was soggy and unappealing, completely overshadowing the flavor of the fish. Additionally, the chips were under-seasoned and lacked the crispness that is typically associated with a good serving of chips.
As a regular customer of your establishment, I have always enjoyed the quality and taste of your food. This recent experience, however, left me extremely disappointed. I believe it is important for you to be aware of this matter, as it may help you maintain the high standards your restaurant is known for.
I kindly request that you look into this issue and take appropriate measures to address the problem. I believe it is crucial to ensure consistency in the quality of your dishes, especially one as popular as fish and chips.
They’ve always got hot chips ready to go. Burgers here are nice as well, and they’re very friendly with their customers who I think are regulars.
Ordered salmon and chips. Very poor in terms of both quality and quantity.
Stopped at this place for take away on the way home and had a great experience with fresh fish n chips at reasonable prices, will definitely go again
This is the worst fish and chip I have. The chip is undercooked the fish is not fresh the fish is terrible all the food no taste at all. Really please don't open the shop to serve the food like that in the uni.
Great prices and consistent quality chips, I bought the mini size and it was perfect for an in-between meals snack!
Bloody delicious. Seriously, bloody delicious. Given that they're in the heart of a university, Neptune's has some great quality food at a decent price. You should go while the food is still fresh, instead of at the end of the day - you'd be surprised at the difference in taste between fresh F&C and those that are a bit old.
They have a great selection of stuff to choose from, and the DIY salt/seasoning/sauce means you can have them exactly how you want.
