I was disappointed after waiting for months (The delay was due to external factors not related to the Centre) for an appointment and ongoing support for my daughter. We seemed to be discarded quickly due to the complexities surrounding my divorce from my daughters father. I was extremely hopeful that my daughter would finally start receiving the help she desperately needed but we found ourselves even further back as a result. To say I was disappointed was an understatement especially when the cancellation happened 2 weeks before Christmas. It seemed all too convenient to discontinue seeing my daughter because things were difficult even though I explained the complexity of our case to the Centre before the first appointment was made and was referred to one of their most senior psychologists to start with, who the Centre claimed would be capable of handling a case like ours.
