3If you are looking for a new hobby, Neo Ceramics Pottery classes are a great experience. Jack Balfour is an extraordinary artist and a very patient teacher! The set up is amazing and very professional. I love that I have only had 6 lessons and have come away with some lovely pottery!
Jack, the founder and his team have created a special ceramics gallery and teaching space in North Melbourne. They have brought together knowledgeable and skilled Australian potters to sell their work and share their knowledge through workshops and courses. I have done a term class with Jack and purchased pots from Neo. The pots they sell are of a high standard. All the staff are passionate and helpful.
Really enjoyed the Sunday taster class I did with Jack. Our class was 6 people for 2 hours which was plenty of time to have a demonstration and then attempt 6 pieces. Jack gave great explanations on how to start and tips along the way. I would definitely love to come back and do a course now. Great addition to North Melbourne, highly recommend even just popping in to see the lovely items they have for sale there too.
