Nene Chicken Doncaster

One of my fave fried chicken. Having Nene Chicken delivered was the weekly highlight of months in lockdown. It was still hot, crispy and succulent despite delivery time.

Absolute Joe I’ve been here now two times just to see how long they take they take so long it’s unbelievable the short staffed and they don’t care about the quality please guys don’t eat at this place in Doncaster waste of time waste of money and waste your time at I gave him a second chance and still come through there any good

I ordered for dinner tonight delivered to my door, the store accepted the order and cancelled it after waiting for more than hour. I am very disappointed With the store. If they cancelled just after confirming i can accept it. This is well after the expected delivery time. I will never order from this store again. Not reliable

Just bought 18pcs of Garlic & 18pcs of Freaking Hot winglet, the size shrink & the wing is only halve coated with the freaking hot sauce. Boxhill branch is more generous with the sauce.

Love nene and love that it opened closer to home now. Have bought many times from here but they’ve never once done a good job coating the fried chicken with sauce.

Food was nice but the staff’s attitude is quite rude, probably need more training about how to respectfully treat your customer

I actually like Nene chicken since I discovered it 3 years ago at the Box Hill store. I've been to the Doncaster store a few times since they opened but they've never impressed. Tonight, I ordered a freaking hot burger with a small combo. The chicken patty was less than half the size of the bun and there was barely any sauce on it. They must have known as they gave me a larger serve of barely warm chips. I would have complained but I already ate a third of the burger when I realised I've been cheated. I won't eat here again. I love the no comment 5star reviews to boost the ratings.

I infact went to go see the boss about this but instead of an apology he was was far too interested how he and he's family was eating dinner when I asked to speak to management.

Couldn't find any good finger lickin chicken until this came here.
Definitely the go to place to grab fried chickens at least once a week.
Glad they finally opened and staffs was helpful in some recommendation as well. Keep the good job up!

Excellent fried chicken with a variety of flavours. Hands down the best in the area. Very friendly and polite staffs with good management as well. Will definitely return regularly. Highly recommended!

Excellent chicken but after I ordered was informed the wait was about 15 or 20 min. I was in a rush so asked for my money back and they said no. I had to wait 35 min. They should warn customers before taking the money.

Extremely poor, half an hour wait despite only having two customers before me. Secondly, I paid for fried chicken not giant pieces of bones.

Made a customer complaint - no response.

The fried chicken is so delicious. Crunchy and flavourful on the outside, tender and juicy in the centre. I had the Mala flavoured one. If you like spicy, then you’ll love it!

TERRIBLE! I waited 20 mins for cold, dry chicken and was a total rip off. Don’t waste you time or money. This place is so overpriced for what you get. Customer service is terrible aswell
