Food was fresh, hot and seasoned nicely. Order taker was too quiet, but quick and got the job done. Overall good lunch.

Coming in a second time to this Nene chicken to be told that my Entertainment Book voucher does not work at this Nene Chicken.

First time was because of a Facebook post that was advertised on Nene Chicken’s FB about an offer and deal that was available at their locations.

I drove out all the way to get the food and was told that they don’t do that offer. They said that it wasn’t in their system. Quite disappointing as I drove out to get the food. Such poor communication and false advertising.

Second time, I was using my Entertainment Voucher and was told that they no longer accept it. Of course I was happy with that response. I drove all the way out again to get food from here to be told I can’t use this voucher that was clearly on the locations.

I said that is not good enough to say that you don’t accept it because I came out all the way. The man serving just said go ahead and complain. I wanted to speak with their boss and he said he’ll be in 2 hrs. I said that this is very poor management/marketing.

And then another worker came and send yes sure we can do it. She put through my order in the end.

I still wanted to write this in because of the poor marketing and lack of service.

I can't say how good the service is but they give you more chicken than their competitors and they have a wider flavour variety!

Ordered boneless chicken today. $35.95 for seasoned flavour (garlic). Amount of chicken given, was pathetic for what I pay. Tastes nothing like Korean fried chicken. I am better off buying pop corn chicken from Kentucky Friend Chicken. Do not recommend and will definitely not return.

Ordered the boneless chicken pieces for $35.95. What a rip off! Shrivelled, dried up and poorly coated chicken. Woeful portion size. Never again. It’s gone down hill since it first opened.

Great staff.very friendly, they missed something in our order and fixed it right away and gave us some free chicken for the trouble that were delicious

I try fried chicken places all around Melbourne and when I tried nene at Eastland I was at first skeptical because it was a small store but I was mind blown. The service was quick and fast and very kind and accomodating and the food was made fresh and it was really tasty. My kids loved everything also, will be coming back definitely!

Service was horrible, once they got our order wrong they refused to give us service after them making a mistake, poor quality food and staff didn’t know what they were doing. Very disappointed because this was their fault and didn’t try to make it right

10/9/22 Eastland nene chicken has the worst customer service I asked for something I didn't receive it then one guy said yes sorry my mistake i will fix it for nothing.another guy tried to charge me even more for it.so I had to get my money back and we saw them give our food to another customer
I will not be going back!

The "swicy" chicken burger was alright - about on par with a KFC burger but I expected better for the high price. Asked for a drink with it for $4.95 and the man at the counter said a combo would be cheaper, so I agreed, only to be charged $5.95 extra. That is not "cheaper".

Also 1.15-1.35% surcharge for using a card payment. Who even uses cash anymore?

Very poor customer service.
Ordered Green spring onion chicken and it came without green spring onions.
A guy on the phone didn’t apologise and said “oh, next time, yeah? ”
That’s it.
I don’t think there will be the ”next time. ”

As you can see there are a lot of bad reviews. There must be a reason why it keeps on going.

I bought a half and half chicken set meal. A total of 14 pieces of chicken. Since there are 7 chicken wings inside. This ratio disappoints me. Why don't I buy a set of chicken wings

Ordered half half chicken large but it is not a full size chicken and only had one leg! Other shops have a lot more chicken than this with similar price! Bad bad bad!

I can't understand why people complain about the poor service over here. I did made an order and probably it's my fault to point to the classic range jumbo instead of boneless chicken as both price are same. And because my order is very particular, it's for the children at home, and they don't like bones chicken. After I told them the reason, they explain to me and swap me a box of boneless one. I appreciated the beautiful Chinese young lady that make the swap for me. It's the first good impression they gave to the customer that makes me want to buy from them.

I order 600ml bottle of coke and get from Uber eats can of coke! And the chicken not fresh at all, after one bite can smell like a dead chicken smelly!
