Nella is a wonderful person to interact with, she managed to turn around 3 pant leg shortenings and tacking a skirt on the same day. Unfortunately, the quality of the work left something to be desired. Two of the pant legs bunch up at the bottom where hemmed, one hem isn’t straight, and one hem has a 2cm gap that hasn’t been jammed and multiple threads crossing over each other. The skirt that was taken in was really poor too, it was pleated so I knew it’d be a harder job, but what was done looks ridiculous with knobbly bits sticking out the waist band where it was tacked. Will need to take all pieces elsewhere to be redone, but at least they carried me through the work weekend I needed them for in the interim.

Nella is a wonderful seamstress, she is great at what she does, has reasonable pricing and also gets the clothes done very quickly. I would definitely recommend! 5 stars ️

I have been going to Nella over 10 years, does all our alterations, lovely lady, would recommend her to anyone, goes above and beyond fitting me in with her schedule, glad she is only a couple minutes from my place.

Nice lady but the work is pretty amateur. Not a professional job, would go to the proper store next time for alterations.

Had my daughters 1st bday celebration hours beforehand. Been like almost 2 years now since I’ve seen her. Anyways my daughter’s dress was a bit too big for her, however Nella worked her magic hands on it, made some alterations & it just fit so perfectly on my girl. She was super lovely and prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend and I plan to go back there soon.

I had a bridesmaid dress I wanted altered as I wasn't happy with the alterations of a different tailor and after taking it back I did not want to deal with them again.
So I called Nella with very high hopes based on her reviews and I'm really disappointed. Our phone call lasted maybe 30 seconds and as I was explaining I wasn't happy with previous alterations, she asked ""well why don't you take it back then? ". I told her I had and did not want to continue my business with them.
I proceeded to try to explain the issue with the dress and I couldn't get much out before she asked "well, what do you want me to do with it? " in a very rude tone.
I told her I was trying to explain the dress and what I wanted changed to which her response was "well I don't know what's wrong with it I need to see it first".
Well yes. Obviously. Had I had the chance to finish she would have known what was wrong with it and I was going to try and arrange an appointment to show her what was wrong with it.
Her work may be great based on other reviews, but her attitude and tone over the phone was not friendly or helpful.
I don't know if I just caught her on a bad day or what happened but it was not a pleasant call and I do not wish to use her services in the future.

Nella is amazing. Her work on all the clothing we have taken to her has always been first class. She is always quick on getting the job done and her work is always perfect. I highly recommend her.
