Very well put together school and company, handful of amazing teachers that are very approachable for all aspects in life not just study. Highly recommend to start your apprenticeship.

This trade school is the one that everyone should be coming to if wanting to undertake anything electrical with a range of certificates ranging from pre apprenticeship to data testing. The range of teachers knowledge is amazing and if one isn’t too sure they have another teacher that knows more that’s willing to help. Would highly recommend having a look at if this is the path you want to take

A very professional trade school with lots of different experience and stories. I like the fact that every teacher has been in the trade themselves so not only do they know the information they’re teaching but they’ve got many great tips to help you improve both on and off the tools.

Great place to go to trade school get taught by industry professionals and not just teachers that are out of touch and have no experience with electrical work.

I have had an incredible experience at NECA. I have recently started my apprenticeship and have received nothing but constant support from my classmates and teachers. The course outline is accurate and NECA stay consistent with keeping us up to date with where we should be during our course.

In the 2 years I’ve been at neca I’ve enjoyed the facility, the curriculum and the teachers. I appreciate the individual attention and the extra curricular addictions which often talk about mental health in the industry.

Good schooling for apprentices only.

However stay away from the LEA refreshers. Particularly the Safe disconnect and reconnect course, methods are out of date and when asked for further details/specifics the tutor replied with vague information and reacted with frustration.

Overall package is $210 (17/4/18) if your paying that much for a 1 day course for a exam with a failure rate of 80% percent on your first attempt, it is not good enough that the tutor does not go into specifics or further details on how to use your megga and why. In addition you should always be able to feel comfortable to ask any questions and not receive immature backlash from your tutors.

Methods are out of date - 5/5 people in our group lost the same marks due to being taught only to test the active supply in the appliance during the the last stage of reconnection.

Would not recommend to any friends or other apprentices trying to obtain their electrical license.
