Only leaving a review as I got an email asking to review my experience, well I recently got charged for a pap smear which I find ridiculous as it’s something women should not be paying for as it’s so important to have done so I just find it disappointing to be charged as they do have the ability not to.

Neal St used to have a brilliant doctor his name was Syed he left a few years back and he was the best they have ever had, shame he is no longer there.

What an absolute disgrace your clinic is!
The way you treat your regular patients is abhorrent. My son declares to you he is to see his doctor for mental health issues and all you care about is demanding money. How about using some basic people skills and defusing the situation by letting him see his appointed Doctor. Ahh yes, that would be too much common sense! Hang your heads in shame you despicable excuse for supposed caring humans.

Got told by my doctor last week that it was a good idea to book an appointment again about my mental health problems for today. Meant to be bulk billed, I then walked in for my appointment today and got told by receptionist that I had to pay an outstanding balance for last weeks appointment even know I got told I would be bulk billed. I then said I was unable to work because of the condition I have and I have no money, and that I need to have my appointment urgently today as I have results to see also. Then they told me I would have to pay todays consultation too, so I have obviously been lied too, I specifically got told that any mental health consultation is bulk billed. Everyone that works at this clinic is corrupt and don’t care about there clients, only there money. There all liars that treat people with mental health badly. I said I have no money for the 100 time and the receptionist told me I wasn’t allowed back at the clinic they told me to go away. I highly recommend don’t go to this clinic as they are very unprofessional and are all narcissists.

Today was my first visit to the Neal Street Medical Clinic and I could not have been happier with the service I received. From the booking experience to getting lost in the nearby construction taking place and a quick phone call for directions, to the service provided during my appointment. All staff were friendly, professional and efficient. I was worried about a potentially painful procedure and I was put at ease straight away. Every staff member I encountered was caring and put my needs first. Thank you for your time and your wonderful service. It really means a lot to an anxious patient.

Fantastic care provided at this facility. Right from the very first phone call to seek an appointment I was greeted warmly and compassionately. The reception team can make or break a medical centre and the ladies that have helped me have been absolutely wonderful.

Reception team were friendly and efficient. The GP that I saw was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I have been a customer of this clinic since it opened and have only ever experienced a high level of care. I highly recommend the Neal St Medical clinic.

I have a regular GP here that I see often. They are professional, empathetic and thorough.
On the odd occasion that I cannot get in to see them, I’ve had excellent experiences with other practitioners. Nursing staff are lovely, and receptionists are so helpful. A great clinic.

Today was the second time i’ve had an encounter with a very condescending receptionist. Two completely different people have spoken down to me for no reason at all. Had to push to get an appointment booked for a specialist, after the receptionist repeatedly pushed the fact that I needed a referral and he wasn’t taking new patients anyway. I told her I had a referral!

I have the voicemail receipts for the other encounter as well. Being told one thing from a GP and having a receptionist condescendingly counter everything they said isn’t really great. I am not a child and yet both experiences felt like I was being somewhat scolded. Great doctors but after this I am heavily considering going elsewhere now.

Attended Gisborne clinic. Asked them not to misuse my information for anything outside my appointment - the woman behind the counter was appalled that I could even imagine such a thing. They would NEVER do this, I should be ashamed for suggesting it.

Apart from this difficult exchange and having to do an extensive paper form that could have been sorted online prior (The reception team were clearly overwhelmed) the experience was fine.

9 months later they use my information to send me a newsletter about how they are implementing a new app.

Saw Dr Jillian with my daughter. Treated very patronisingly and made to feel like a very naughty child Needs to work on her bedside manner or get into a different type of medicine.

Awful doctors clinic do not go here.
I booked an appointment for back pain and 10 minutes into the appointment doctor Abdul had to take a phone call for another patients issues which I did not mind at the time.when he returned from his phone call I said I would also like to talk to him about an issue with my lungs to which he replied my next patient is waiting you need to book another appointment.
I pressed the point and he agreed to refer me for a scan.

I was only in the appointment for 20 minutes and was charged for a 40 minute booking which I said I would return to pay the next day.
The next day I received a call from the gisbourn clinic enquiring when I would be in to pay, I took this as an opportunity to express my concerns with my appointment the day before.

The lady on the phone completely dismissed me and when I said the doctor did not have time to properly address my concerns but had time for a phone call mid appointment she said 'thats not what I heard' rudely as if to accuse me of making it up.
To top it off his diagnosis was wrong I saw another doctor at a different clinic the next day and was told it was shingles not muscle pain.

Myself and my family will not return to this clinic and I would suggest you hire more caring staff considering it is healthcare.

Keep away from the Woodend Clinic. Doctors ok/good but admin staff are dangerously incompetent. Verging on negligence in a health setting.

Do not come here!
Support a clinic who is fair and wants to provide accessibility to everyone, not this one.
This clinic used to be my favourite, because they supported bulk billing, equality and access for the community and had great doctors.
Now I feel that they are more interested in finding ways to charge you, than having any interest or care in your health concerns.
I felt very intimidated, as though the doctors were on edge and the reception staff (except for a lovely few) trying to mislead me and charge me money under false information which was actually able to be fully funded by bulk bill just like everywhere else. When i embarassingly opened up about my financial difficulty they dismissed it, and continued to charge, even though the charge was eligible to be fully covered under bulk bill, and I had a health care card as it states on the website! They still tried to charge me and were very pushy and rude about it!
I find it unfair, and greedy now. Very upset with this clinic. Not fair at all in terms of community access and very money hungry, felt like I didn't matter, only my wallet that has nothing in it mattered. Disspointed. Especially when youre sick and need help. Bad for your mental health, go to a clinic who actually cares about healthcare and support them!

Very difficult to see the same Dr twice here. You are moved in an out as quickly as possible. It might be ok if you just need a prescription but for long term, professional medical care I went elsewhere.
