11I have ordered a couple of times from Fatma and it has always been an absolute pleasure to deal with her. The process has been absolutely smooth with her making sure that i get the best version of what i want. The material (i have got acrylic as well as wooden caligraphy from her) is great and the customer service is something that made me sold for her. I am going to place more orders (always get ayatal kursi from her as house warming gift) from her. May you get more and more success. Thank you very much!
No star rating for the level of service and poor quality of item received from my first and last purchase with Naya&Co.
I ordered a black wooden Eid Mubarak stand and emailed Fatma within her “48hour from delivery policy” regarding my unboxing experience and photos attached. (6/4/2023). Whilst unboxing her package. I noticed a very strong paint odour and noticed that the stand had the paper invoice on it then bubble wrapped. When I removed the bubble wrap and lifted the invoice, I heard a few tears and noticed that bits of paper were stuck to the stand. This is where I knew the item was packed wet and also with the incorrect packaging method.
The correct packaging method is the item to be bubble wrapped and the invoice packed within cardboard shipping box. The scent of the wet paint was lingering in my home for a good two days. Also the paint of base for the sign was so blotchy and you can tell that two different types of paint was used on the base and sign.
I waited a week for a response and heard nothing back so I emailed again asking if she had an update. (13/04/2023) She simply stated she didn’t receive my first email and to forward it again which I did straight away. Her response was either to offer a discount on my next order or to supply a return slip but I had to respond back to her before COB. I responded before 5pm asking for a return slip. (19/04/2023)
After sending emails asking for an update, I received a response from her on 27/04/2023 advising she was on leave and that she couldn’t offer the return slip as 7 days have passed and my only option is to buy a sharpie or respray the sign myself.
I responded back advising that I shouldn’t have to go out and purchase a spray can or a sharpie to fix a $70 stand that was clearly packaged wet and incorrectly. Since my last email on the 27/04 I had not received a reply until 6/05/2023 advising the exact words “I don’t unfortunately believe there was enough evidence to show that the “paper” was stuck on their and that it was delivered this way. Please use a normal $5-8 black spray paint can to paint over it as the stand itself is perfectly fine. ”
How was I supposed to prove after already unboxing that this is how it happened? Does a small business not remember how they personally package their goods? She advertises on Instagram that her admin days are Monday to Thursday between 10-3pm and her response periods to emails are 24-48hrs but I can prove by my emails as a first time customer that I never received a response back within those windows. Nor was this situation treated fairly. More than a month has passed now and still no return slip insight. She has even gone that far to block my personal account from her business page on Instagram. I spoke to several other businesses and friends who had purchased from her and they even said that this wasn’t dealt with correctly.
Excellent service! The communication between the business owner and myself was really great. What you see in the posts and website photo's is what you get and better. We brought so many items around the home. We also keep going back for more. From order to delivery at my front door was as promised within 7 day's. Highly recommended.
